Don't buy from this merchant. They simply do not answer their own phone! (Ironic?) I bought a phone and was dissatisfied, wanted to discuss an exchange. I called a couple of days ago and was on hold for 25 minutes before I gave up. Yesterday I called their Customer Service on my cell (the phone they shipped is a TOTAL piece of junk) and they had me on hold for so long I put my cell on speaker and called their sales dept with home phone. I was on hold for 43 minutes on the cell. They picked up the other line after a generous 17 minutes. When their rep realized that I needed info on returns I was dumped back on hold. So I guess instead of eating the shipping in both directions and a 10% restocking fee, I'll unload this phone Craig's List. A friend said today, "101 Phones? They answer their phone long enough to get your money and then you'll never get them again." |

I would advise NEVER to get involved with this company. I bought a GE phone system from them for about $160.00 on May 2nd. When It arrived, I could NOT get one of the 3 handsets to work, so I called them. They gave me a GE service number to call. It didn't take long for GE to realize that there was a problem with this BRAND NEW phone. They had me repackage EVERYTHING and ship it to a GE address in Texas. This cost me $17.00 out of pocket. On May 13th, I called 101phones and they knew nothing about this. Again, they sent me to GE. When I called GE again, they said that the turn around time is 4 to 6 weeks. Do the math.... 101phones has a 30 day return/refund policy. That's right, you have NO warrenty if you purchase a GE phone from them. Bottom line - stay away from 101phones and ESPECIALLY GE products. Now I'm about $175 into this phone and won't see it for a month to a month and a half. When it gets here the 30 day warrenty will be up and I will be on my own. |

Avoid this vendor! I ordered a phone Astra 9110B (wall black phone) on January 8th 2009. I received my order on January 12th, but it was wrong, they sent me a platinum one instead of black. I shipped it back overnight (my own cost), with explanation that I needed a black phone. It took three weeks to receive my phone back, but even though they it was the wrong one again. I called the customer service and the just informed that they don’t have the black one, and they assumed that it would not be a big deal for a customer just having a different color. This is ridicules and disrespectful! I asked for a different brand in black that could fit my needs; they just put me on hold for more than 20 minutes until I got disconnected. I called again, and again, and again, until a representative attended saying that they would do the exchange, charging my credit card for the new model and crediting for the one they don’t have, but no credit for returns. Terrible service! |

Do not do business with 101 phones if you need items to come in a stated time frame, or if you order more than one item! If you order more than one item, you cannot trust that you will actually receive all of your items. They have no way of knowing when their warehouses send out only part of an order. They are totally incompetent. If there is a problem (which is very likely), you have to spent 30 minutes on hold each time you call them, and the person you speak to will know nothing. |

On Thursday I purchased a product for $99.99. On Friday the price was reduced to 69.99. I called and asked for a credit of $30. "Tough luck, we don't have price pretection!" In other words we are not interested in serving our customers, and we're only looking after ourselves. With all the alternatives on the web wouldn't you rather trade with someone who at least had a small interest in you and not all about themselves. I WON'T BOTHER THEM AGAIN!!! |

I ordered a phone with 5 extra handsets. The phone was shipped but the 5 extra handsets were on backorder. I received a phone call telling me about the backorder after the main phone was already shipped. I was billed for the phone and all 5 handsets at the time the first phone was shipped. Now I have to wait and hope the 5 handsets come in, since the phone is no good to me without all the handsets. I would have appreciated the phone call telling me about the backorder of the 5 handsets before the main phone was shipped so that I could have cancelled my order at that time. I will not order from this company again. |

AVOID THIS VENDOR! I placed an order for a phone on 12.11.06 and received an immediate confirmation of the purchase. My credit card was charged immediately. After ten days I had no product and went to check my order status online. The order status said SHIPPED. So I figured it got caught up in the holiday madness. New Years passed and my order status still said shipped so I called to find out the tracking number. I waited on hold for over 30 minutes when I had to hang up. The next day I called and waited over 20 minutes only to be put back on hold for over 10 more minutes. Then I was told my order was on a "national back order and would be available mid January so it should be shipped in a few days." It is 1.3.07 and mid January is more than a few days away. The story goes on and ends with me cancelling my order. Bottomline - DISHONEST, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, and POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES. |

Overall experience was good. Had to send product back because of a default in the hands free speaker. When I called your customer service line the person I talked to seemed to be in a hurry and rude, they put me on hold twice while I was asking a question to answer other incoming calls. |

Product received quite expeditously, but there was obvious lackluster support on the part of customer service. Part was received and answering machine portion ultimately verified defective by manufacturer, Panasonic. Since old phone had been discarded, elected to order separate (new charge)phone in lieu of disconnecting until replacement arrives, and advised that though credit would be provided upon return of damaged phone, customer would be responsible for return shipping (as outlined in their website procedures). Since the total cost would have been incurred as identified in their return procedures had I immediately returned the defective component, I am unclear of 101's motive. This is a very customer unfriendly approach lacking the luster of a business intent on maintaining return business. I vow to take any opportunity to share my experience with 101 phones and discourage purchase for all with whom I come in contact. |
