The price quoted at PriceGrabber.com on 4/19/08 was 185.00 for a Back-UPS RS 1500VA/900W LCD 120V Tower UPS, (8) 5-15R Outlets. I was sent a quote by the vendor for that amount showing 0 taxes & 0 shipping. I was also sent what I thought was an order confirmation after I contacted them via email. The item did not arrive I emailed again& was told no it was only a confirmation of a quote. When the order was finally placed, on 5/1/08 it was then $198.10 no shipping or taxes. I thought the quote/confirmation/ordering process was a little confusing. But I did receive the item & it was still a good price. I'd order from them again, but I'd make sure I saved all of the email quotes etc. |

The product that I ordered was delivered on time but I will not shop with them again. In my opinion, their customer service needs an upgrade. For instance, I called them and emailed them for the paper work on the 3 year extended warranty I purchased. Nearly 3 months after the purchase, I still do not have any documentation on the warranty, nor do I have a phone number to call if the product breaks down. Retailer Response (04/21/2008): THE EXTENDED WARRANTY INFORMATION IS ON YOUR ACCOUNT . IF YOU HAVE PROBLEM LOGGING INTO YOUR ACCOUNT , PLEASE CALL US ASK FOR MANAGER , MARK. I ordered a high end business projector ($1,000 price range). The order arrived sooner than expected (I selected the "free shipping" option). The package arrived undamaged in a factory sealed un-opened box. The product was definitely new and works just fine. Assuming this company was the low price bidder in the future, I would definitely order from them again. |

I like the website, very simple, and easy to search. I bought 3 HP Switches ( $6682 ) at a very good price. I could not believe it, until the packages were delivered, in a very timely manner. I will definitely buy form them again. |

I like the instant info Price Grabber gave to me on who ships to APO. The company Advanced PC. DID NOT ship all of my order and wanted to charge me again for what did not arrive here! We agreed on the shipping through a confirmed e-mail. I found out through a phone call to Mark Omidi who claimed to be the manager they were going to charge me again to get it in the mail again. I never got it, so how could I be paying...again? He was less than helpful and would not commit to following through on crediting my account for what I had not recieved. I found out he was a sales person and not the manager. I have never had such poor customer service in my life. I have dealt with mail order for many years and this is the worst! I did get the most important part of my order (the printer) and it arrived fine and timely, but lets spend $1600 with a company and then they turn around and give you this kind of grief over what the post office didn't do?! I just need my ink! Please tell your customers to Retailer Response (11/20/2007): Please call 800-604-8028, and ask for a manager. We will explain to you the detail of this transaction. |

I was a very easy process. I enjoy the website. Lots of items for sale at reasonable prices. I ordered an HP Color Laserjet Printer for $5200. No one had the printer in stock except Advanced P.C. I could not believe it, until I got the package in 3 day. Since I had a bad experience with other on-line merchants, I had to test the printer , to make sure it is new , which it was. I will defenitly purchase form them again. |

The product arrived quickly, looked to be new and it worked perfectly. The only issue that I encountered was that the status of my order on the website did not get updated until I sent an email to inquire about it - probably some kind of glitch on their site. The response, however, was quick and it turns out that the product arrived that day. They definitely had the best price and in the end, the product did arrive quickly. I would order from them again. |

(Edited October 16th by dutchmaster) Never again - they claim not, but I received what appeared to be a refurb when new was paid for. The control panel buttons were sunk below the deck and the quick-start document had highlighter marks on it. I spoke with a customer rep and it appeared we were going to address the issue, and I was to call back the following day for a decision. When I called the following day I ended up with a Napoleonic MANAGER, a giant in his own eyes. It went seriously down hill from there. I went with this bunch on the weight of the reviews AND their sensible comments to the negative reviews. Their reply to my review is a BALD FACED LIE, which leads me to suspect their other replies are lies also. Nothing was shipped to me or done to correct the issue, other than threatening to take me to court. Finally they offered to do something if I made the review positive. I will pay extra before I mislead people with this review. If all goes well you may be OK, but if not, you're screwed with this bunch. Retailer Response (10/11/2007): We have replaced the damaged printer which was insured by FEDEX. He was not happy, because he asked for another one ship to him overnight, which was not acceptable by the manager ( printer was too heavy). We did ship another one Fedex 3 day . At this time he has both printers. Fedex has not picked up the damaged one yet. |

I ordered a product on the 10th of September. The shipping utilized by the company failed to deliver the product. When I called to company to complain and request they reship the product ASAP, they still said it would take 3 days. After three days I have received no product nor a tracking number. This company doesn't get it that when their shipper fails they need to do everything they can to get their product to their customer. Now a month later I have to buy the product elsewhere and pay to rush the shipment. Retailer Response (10/11/2007): We are very sorry about this .We shipped the order on time. after 10 days( standard delivery for heavy weight shipment, cross country.),we found out, FEDEX missed the delivery , and since it has been shipped cross country ,it usually take 2 weeks for them to trace ,and find the package. We shipped another one. but since this is a heavy item .it takes another 10 days to get to you. We have refunded your credit card ,and please refuse the two package that you will receive this week. |

Their good customer service allows me to say I'd buy from them again. The challenge of my order was shipping. I received an e-mail with what was said to be a UPS tracking number. Turns out it wasn't a UPS number. I then tried Fedex and it wasn't a Fedex number. I ultimately had to call customer service. They told me it was shipped via a freight service I'd never heard of (Eagle). I've seen comments by others that their mails also said UPS when it wasn't so I suspect all e-mails they send out with the tracking number automatically say the shipment is UPS no matter what was actually used. Reaching customer service was immediate (no voice mail roundabout). He was able to give me all the needed information including the website for Eagle so I could contact them. In the end I contacted their customer service about 3 times. All positive experiences. I would order from them again. Their prices are great but that's only good if the merchant experience is good, and it is. |

Ordering from this merchant online was fast and simple. You get an order confirmation (email) shortly after it's been placed and then once again with tracking number once it's been shipped. My APC Back-UPS arrived in excellent condition and to my surprise was already fully charged and ready to go into service. I would had received my order 2 days earlier if FEDEX hadn't shipped it from NJ to OH via KS. Of course Advanced P.C. was not in anyway at fault here, but I sent them a courtesy email nevertheless to notify them of the delay in receipt and why. They promptly replied by asking if there was anything they could do in the future to better serve their customers!! This definately left a positive impression on me and I would definately order from them in the future and highly recommend them to others. |

Lots of confusion involved around approval to ship to another address. Package still has not arrived. This area needs a lot of attention plced on it so purchases can be processed in a more timely fashion. Other than that the company I purchased from was very good and responded to my inquiries in a very timely fashion. It will make me think about purchasing anything that is a priority item on line again even if the cost is good. |
