Follow up: After 4 days of watching my order listed as "Pending" I contacted the company to find out if there was a problem. Apparently my item was out of stock and they were having trouble locating one. I cancelled my order and placed it with another (more expensive) company. My credit card was not charged. The survey needs a "N/A" column. I graded "3" the services I was unable to comment on. Overall Rating

Addition of a $19 fee for "less than $5000 order" at the end of the order process was an unpleasant surprise. The fact that the item I was ordering was cheaper here than elsewhere even with the fee caused me to go ahead with the order, but I will be looking elsewhere before returning to this vendor next time.

I WORK FOR A COMPANY WHO SHIPS BY FREIGHT LINES AND UPS DAILY AND OUR RATES FOR SHIPPING VERY LIGHT ITEMS ARE NOT AS EXPENSIVE AS YOUR RATES AND THE HANDLING FEE IS TOO HIGH AS WELL, I STARTED OUT ORDERING A 16.00 ITEM AND ENDED UP PAYING 53.56. Shipping cost increased $20 between the original pricing page and the checkout, and a $19 fee was added for orders below $5000. I will be doing my best not to return to this merchant.

Tacking on a "handling fee" of $19.00 on an 800.00 piece of equipment without notice is probably the tackiest thing I have ever heard of. Will probably not do business with this company again. SMD

Basically I would like to comment about 1 thing. Handling charges. I don't believe in them and basically they are a cheesy way to get more money out of the consumer. I spend over $900 at this site, shipping is already $30.00 and then they tack on a $19.00 handling charge on top of that. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Almost canceled the order right when I saw that. Other then that everything was fine.

Handeling FEE? Come on. Why dont you just add 19.00 to the price and not piss me off. Feces what's minimum wage? I think you paid two people an hour of it with that add - on.

I Read reviews about this company that are weary. However I went on to purchase xerox 8550dp. THe shipping was reasonable. I called and they expalined the haddling fee. Originally told product would be delivered UPS on Monday or I would not have ordered from them. Telephone calls on Monday confirmed UPS delivery on Tuesday. Still has not arrived. Telephone calls today first said it would be FedEx and then later that it would be truck freight. Lots of excuses why things didn't go as we were told.

They wait for 3 days to tell you the order isnt processed. They tell you unless you call your bank and fix your information they wont ship your order. When this is done, and after a manager promises that you will receive the shipment in 3 days, instead you receive email message saying that the order is cancelled! You call them again only to be told you have to reorder the goods and wait for a week. And (you find this out on your own), the price of the printer has gone up by $100!
Retailer Response (02/16/2006): Our website has an Anti Identity Theft System, that sometimes makes people feel uncomfortable, but in the long run , it is to the customer's benefit . I hope that you can understand. In this particular case , we tried to contact the customer by phone and email for over 5 days (to notify him that his credit card information was not accurate and it was not matching with the Credit Card company's information). We were not successful. Therefore, we cancelled his order. Within this 2 weeks, there might have been a price change, ( item on sale). We asked him to wait for a few days for other specials, and he refused and cancelled the order.
