The website indicated that the item "ships within 1-2 weeks." On September 15 (one month later), I contacted them and asked why the order hadn't shipped yet and when it would ship. They said they were still waiting for a shipment to come in. On September 22, I contacted them again for an update. They said the ship date kept being pushed back due to the back to school rush and they recommended that I look elsewhere for the product (since I wanted it for an October birthday). Meanwhile, their website STILL states the the item "ships within 1-2 weeks." I waited six weeks and eventually had to cancel my order. Completely unacceptable and misleading!	Overall Rating

I received the product and uploaded and saw that I needed to send proof to Adobe before activating the trial version. Unfortunately, there are two-student versions- one that costs $574 and the other that costs $598. When I was at the Academic Superstore website I only saw the student version for $574 and since my teacher said the version we could get was around $500, I thought this was the correct version. I was also told I would have to submit proof to Academic Superstore and I did and they put the order through. If I was going to need a student ID then they should of asked me for that along with a class receipt because I thought I only had to submit the class receipt to them and that was it. If they asked me for a student id to begin with because of the version I was buying then none of this would of happened and I would have seen that I needed to purchase the other student version. I was charged the day I placed the order, after a week I hadn't heard anything other then a confirmation email. I had to check the status on the site to see it was backordered. When I called they said it would be another 2 weeks until I would receive the bag. I promptly canceled my order and requested a refund. They should signify on the site if something needs to be special ordered and notify the customer immediately when the product is on backorder.	Overall Rating

After a couple tries, an individual contacted me and gave me her private email address to send to. I did and all came through just fine. When I placed the order, they sent me confirmation e-mails. 5 days later, I still had received no shipping information or the product. I had to e-mail them in order for them to tell me that the item was backordered. Upon checking the website at that point, it still showed the item as in-stock. When they replied to my e-mail informing them of the discrepancy, there was no offer to cancel the order. I had to send another e-mail asking them to cancel the order.	Overall Rating

I heard nothing, then after a couple days checked the status and found it backordered, even though I was initially advised it was "in stock". I requested the order canceled, as I needed it and would never have ordered if I knew it was not in stock. Over the past nearly two weeks I have sent email after email, each one with an answer blaming the accounting department and being advised they would take care of it. One lie after another. I was a little confused when the e-mail requested eligibility info although the web site said it was not required for that item.
