It was indicated on the invoice that the one they sent me was an "upgrade.". I called them and the sales rep confirmed that they swapped the item on purpose. The hard drive they sent me was also NOT new, it was in a re-sealed anti-static bag and there appeared to be light markings on the gold contacts (SATA interface), indicating it might have been plugged in before. Receiving a used item alone is unacceptable, but sending a different item on purpose is doubly so. I got a refund and thankfully did not have to pay for return shipping as pickup was arranged. I would not buy from ADC-AST again.	Overall Rating
