WARNING: DO NOT BUY FROM ADVANCED LAMPS or you will regret it. They claim to sell manufacturer certified parts but will ship you aftermarket parts that will burn out in 3-6 months. I bought two lamps from them in 2007 & 2009 and both blew in less then 6months and they will not replace it even if its under warranty. Also note that Advanced Lamps have frequent security violations resulting in customer credit card information being stolen so check your credit if you bought anything from them and report anything unusual. |

ordered a bulb that lasted 2 mo. after jumping through their hoops and calling contiuously for 1 mo. recieved my replacement. It lasted less than 4 hours. Sent it back for replacement again ( they refused to refund my money) Now 2 mo later they say they have shipped my replacement again. what a scam!! |

got one lamp from them. lasted 2 months. sent it back and got another. lasted 3 WEEKS. they wouldn't replace 2nd bulb free.(90 day warranty) The ad says "Genuine AL" for most lamps. If it says that, ask if it has the name of your TV on the box or lamp they send you. (not mine) My FACTORY toshiba lamp lasted 2 years. Second factory lamp (bought elsewhere) is 1 year used and still going. Use their lamp first and save your factory lamp as a backup if you did buy here.(use your 90 day warranty). read all the negative reviews and go elsewhere is my suggestion. Make sure you're buying original equipment. Ask them what their BBB rating is, or find out. |

(Edited September 17th by jalangston) I purchased a replacement projector lamp. Lamp would not come on after just a few weeks. They sent me another one after I paid to return the first defective lamp. Second lamp did the same thing. Returned at there cost this time and they talked me into getting a 3rd lamp from them. Same result. This whole process took 6 months and 2 weeks. They will not exchange the lamp or credit me for an OEM one because it is over 6 months from day of purchase, not from previous received lamp. So, they have my $211.00 and I have there busted projector lamp. They did offer to take half off of the new OEM lamp. Still not satisfied. |

Ordered a projector lamp that was defective. Lasted all of 1 Hour. Then I had to pay to ship it back and wait a week for them to "test" it to ensure it was defective. I asked for an exchange and was told that they were out of stock and had to wait for a new order that would be 1-2 weeks. I call 2 weeks later and them am told it will be 3 weeks. So they had my money for over a month, I had to pay for shipping to return their defective product back and they apparently raised the price on their lamp and reduced the warranty period in half. This company strung me along for a month when they could have just immediately sent me a replacement lamp. DON'T BUY FROM HERE. The "SAVINGS" aren't worth the headaches. |

The purchase of the lamp was actually a fairly positive experience. However, apparently their lamps are inferior quality. My previous lamp lasted for over 4 years and their lamp lasted only two months before exploding. To top it off, their return policy is set-up to make you run around in circles (in an apparent attempt to get you not to return their defective products) and that is after you can finally get in touch with their returns person. |

Incredibly quick and easy. I couldn't have asked for a smoother experience from Advanced Lamps. My replacement lamp shipped out the same day I ordered it and I got it quicker than expected. I will recommend Advanced Lamps to everyone. Great work! |

Because I ordered on a Saturday, there was a delay until Monday before extra-cost 2-day air shipping was initiated. After than, everything went just fine. My E-mailed questions were only partially answered at first, but after a follow up e-mail they did all get answered. |

Thanks for the great shipping and the extra service in helping me figure out which bulb I needed this time. All products work fine and were received in acceptable time. We weren't in a hurry since we were stocking for future use so ground was fine. I think we are set for the upcoming rush on bulbs but might be back for some of your non-bulb inventory. I needed a replacement lamp for my InFocus X1. The first lamp I received from Advanced Lamps lasted less than one hour. They immediately processed an exchange - I had to send the defective lamp back, but they sent a replacement before they received the return. The new replacement is working great! Great service, would buy again. |

I ordered two NEC projector lamps. First, the lamps came in a beat up Johnson & Johnson box. The first bulb we installed was not bright at all and you can barely see the screen. The second bulb we installed appeared to much better than the first until an hour later when the bulb exploded and smoke was coming out the projector. The glass completely shattered. So two bulbs ordered, two bulbs defective. Now I have to deal with trying to get refunded. Horrible experience, I will never use them again. |

I ordered a bulb from them, it was defective, they do not call you back, after leaving voice mails forever, I got a hold of them and had it exchanged- the item was poor quality and defective as well, they never returned my calls making me go over the 30 day return police (how are you suppose to return something when they dont answer their phone) and now I have a crappy bulb I cant watch out of, I reported them to better bus. bur. Retailer Response (08/07/2009): Case of an irresponsible rep. THis person has been removed from our staff and has been replaced with a more capable person. We found out what was happening between this rep and our customer ONLY when the BBB complaint was filed. Management immediately took action and the customer has been refunded for the defective product. For the product - it was undoubtedly garbage! We tried use of a new manufacturer that has come to the market - this lamp was the first and last we tried of their product. They were using a bulb with the incorrect wattage and it caused them all to fail. Once made aware of the epidemic, we pulled all inventory from the shelf and went back with a higher cost, higher quality product to avoid further issues. |

We've ordered 8 times over about 2 years. Never had a problem. The types of items that we use are some blubs but we also took a look at the audio equipment which ended up being a good deal and good quality. There always seems to be some other item I add onto the order that I didn't intend to buy. Like the Cusinart Coffee maker that when I checked the price it was less than my local macys even with the shipping. So our coffee room got a treat with the needed item i was ordering. I just saw that xbox equipment and the shop is contemplating ordering some for our holiday give away grand prize. I just get good service and they actually remember me which is a plus. |

Bought two bulbs from these guys and neither of the worked!!!!! then they want me to pay for insured shipping back to them for a broken bulb?!?!?!?! so basically i got to pay for shipping two bulbs to myself and back, installed them, and got absolutely nothing in return but a big headache. thanks for nothing advanced lamps. |

Finally a company with Toshiba Lamps that work! I have been through 2 other stores and 7 other lamps....none worked. I was told by a service man my TV was fine and the lamps were alll bad. I was determined to find one. I tried Advanced Lamps and the first one went in and fired up immediately. No problems, no hassel, the lowest price and the shipping took 1 business day. I just wish I found the first. Thanks All! |

Ordered a replacement bulb and it caused my TV to reset. Called in and they promptly sent a replacement, it also reset my TV. When I called back in the agent informed me of the law suit against Toshiba, which I knew nothing about. They issued a full refund and I have since gone to Toshiba and they are replacing my bulb. They definitely put me on the right path. |
