B_Sholl - (July 30, 2008) After doing lots of research looking for a basement dehumidifier, I chose this model because of these attributes. It can work at lower temperatures (Very few larger models work at lower temperatures.), has auto-defrost control, is Energy Star efficient, can attach a garden hose (didn't want to deal with emptying the bucket), and the bonus is that it will automatically restart after a power outage. An hour after I installed it (12" away from any wall, etc), I could feel the difference in the humidity. Yes, the cellar is now warmer (dry, warm air is blown back into the room by dehumidifiers) and drier. It does seem to run a lot, but we do have a very wet, fieldstone basement, so we put it

MORE4MY$ - (July 16, 2008) I reviewed the different dehumidifiers in this price range (about $179) on a consumer product review site. This unit came highly recommended above the competition. The first unit (yes the first unit) I set up right away in an upstairs bedroom. It came on, told me the humidity level, and then started working. Great. A few hours later, I walked in the room and immediately I felt the temperature was significantly higher that the temp in the hallway. So I checked the bucket. It was partially filled. So I decided empty it. As I was removing the bucket, some of the water that was in upper collection area leaked into the bottom of the unit. With my other dehumidifiers I never had this

juniorbebe - (November 05, 2007) I'm one of those people that will research a product's reviews, specs, features and ratings for months before I buy anything. I researched throughout the internet for a thermostat that would fit my needs for every possible scenario. Of course my first requirement was an Energy Star compliant thermostat. You can program every single day of the week with or just a block for the week or weekends. It also comes with a preloaded program that will fit the average family, which can be changed to meet your needs.Because of the blue light that comes on when you press any button, I can finally change the temperature setting in the middle of the night without having to turn on the hallway light and w

maryjoflygirl - (10/26/2008) This heater lives up to the Lasko name and standards. It is easy to use right out of the box with no assembly required. The remote control is a great feature along with the 8 hour timer. You can set the thermostat to a comfortable room temperature. It is very quiet and has an automatic overheat protection.

trainman_1998_1146049735 - (10/24/2008) This filter is nicely packaged and fits easily into the FAP02 air purifier. The side is marked to show the direction of the airflow. Keep in mind that this is the only filter that will work with the 3M purifier. I tried vacuuming out the old filter, but that does not restore the efficiency of the machine as a new filter would.
