The ordering went well and the $196.00 was charged on my Credit Card, however the instock item has not shipped after the fourth week. I tried to contact Allegro by Phone and Email and they have not answered either method. I would NOT suggest this business to anyone else, nor will I shop with them again. I should have read the other reviews of bad service before ordering. |

My last of several e-mails to them -- none were ever answered: I supposedly had your representative named Sarah cancel this order on 10-07-09 and expected a refund within a week. I contacted Jeff, a representative of yours on 10-16-09 and he assured me that my file indicated that it was being canceled. However, he stated he had to notify the warehouse and see what the shipment status was and that I would receive an e-mail to let me know the status of a refund. I contacted Kendra, a representative of yours on 10-21-09 who stated there was no indication on my order that it had been canceled on 07-10-09 but that she would do so. However before a refund could be made the shipment status would need checking with the warehouse. She also assured me that I would receive notification soonest by e-mail what the status was. Haven't received anything yet. Do not under any circumstances deal with AlegroMedical. |

Initial order in June arrived promptly. Auto re-order in August never shipped, even tho they billed my credit card without having the product to ship. I had to call to find out that product was on back-order. Canceled order 9/10, but repr. never canceled order on their records, recanceled 9/14 with promise credit would be rushed through. As of 10/23 I still have no credit after having made many phone calls, sending e-mails, always the same run-around - that credit has been issued but it never appears on my credit card. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY ... They even told me once that my order had shipped long after I had canceled it, and when I asked for a tracking number, they never responded. My credit card is trying to undo the charge, but it's been three weeks since that started. DO NOT BUY FROM ALLEGRO MEDICAL even if prices are lower. |

After 12 days my order status is still "awaiting shipment". Three emails have resulted in no response. I called their customer service line. I heard canned music for ten minutes, then I heard someone pick up, then hang up the phone before I could speak. I suspect that I will never see either the product or my refund. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. |

They charged my card the day I ordered and NEVER informed me item was on back order until I called. I cancelled order and was told I'd have a refund in 3 to 5 days. A month and four calls later; still no refund. I see many complaints about this. EVERYONE WHO HAS A COMPLAINT take the time to complain to the Better Business Bureau as well. This company has an accreditation it no longer deserves. |

Beware of this seller if you have a problem unless you have a lot of time to waste. After over a month I still do not have a credit to my credit card for the item I purchased and calceled due to item not being in stock. Today is 7/30/09. I ordered a Magnetrainer recumbent exercise bicycle on 6/26 and paid with my credit card. I got an email the next day saying the item was back-ordered and would not be shipped for 2-3 weeks. I was on the road and did not know where I would be when the item would be shipped in 2-3 weeks. I needed item shipped immediately so I emailed them the next day, 6/27 to cancel order. Just to be sure, I called them on 6/29 and also send another email to confirm cancellation since I had not received any response to my previous emails. I was assured by phone, that shipment was canceled. DO NOT ORDER--IF YOU EXPECT TO GET YOUR MERCHANDISE. I placed my order a month-and-a-half ago. The in-stock items were suddenly on backorder, & they missed 3 delivery dates. Tracking finally showed the order was delivered, but it wasn't. I was told it was a data entry error, the items were still on backorder, they couldn't tell me when they would receive stock to ship, and the customer service rep wouldn't let me speak to anyone who could provide info. I called the manufacturer myself, who advised they weren't shipping to Allegro & suggested I cancel the order. They referred me to Expressramps.com. I did so, & they will ship immediately at comparable prices and FREE shipping. Also Allegro charged my credit card on the day of order and said "it could be a while before the refund would be processed, processing procedures, you know." |

AllegroMedical.com has the best prices compared to other sites I had visited. The item purchased came with a cover for the same price. Whereas other sites charged extra for the cover. Thank you AllegroMedical for being affordable. Sharon |

My experience with this merchant has been positive so far. Their website is easy to navigate and ordering was uncomplicated. They had the exact product I needed. Price is pretty competitive with others. The only "complaint" I have is the price of the shipping which was pretty high for me. UPS delayed my delivery for one day but this is in no way the fault of Allegro Medical. |

I am having a similar problem as another reviewer. I placed an order for an in-stock item, my card was charged the very next day, and, 12 days later, my order status still says "awaiting shipment". How can they charge me in full for nothing? Needless to say, I'll be asking my credit card company the same question. |

Terrible company. Represented on their website that my item was in stock. I placed my order. FIVE DAYS later they email me that the item is backordered. I emailed to find out if they had charged my card. TWO WEEKS later (now 3 weeks from orig order date) I get an email that they have charged my card...and that they became suddenly and unexpectedly busy, which is cause for the item being backordered (in this economy, yeah right!) And besides that, unless a bunch of other people ordered a giraffe print breastfeeding pillow, this is NOT an excuse for the item being backordered. Truth is, they never had the item, and then used MY MONEY to stock the item AFTER I ordered it. This is NOT OKAY. I have requested to cancel my order in every way possible wlited on the website, and am keeping copies af all of my communications. This company is misrepresenting themselves as a huge webstore with many items and great customer service. In REALITY they carry little stock and have very poor cust serv! |

The item ordered was received however it just didn't work for me. I contacted AllegroMedical and was issued an RMA number and the item was shipped back and received on 10/14/2008. When I contacted them two weeks later I was told that they had no time line on processing refunds and I should just wait. I contacted them a two weeks later and was told that an "expedite refund" would be issued as soon as the persons computer unfroze. They didn't offer an explanation as to the delay or how much longer it would have taken if I had not called to get my "expedited refund". They should be able to receive ,inspect returned items and issue refunds faster that 4 weeks. |

Allegro Medical do not respect their return policy by failing to respond to customers. 5 attempts to contact them, through email and by phone, resulted in only 1 response, not acknowledging receipt of the first message composed on their website and asking to repeat the reason for return. When I called customer service to explain the situation in details, the representative said she would call me back, giving the excuse that she needed to consult her supervisor since we were past the 30-days return (due, of course, to their failure to respond to the first message). After several days with no reply, I called back and was asked to leave a phone message for the same representative. Again, no reply. I wanted to give the company a last chance before writing this review, so I sent another message to customer service 4 days ago, with copy to the “President”. It was ignored again... This makes the excessive promotional emails -- on 4 consecutive days this week -- even more irritating! |

I am a long term Allegro Medical customer, but the service has gone consistently down hill. At first I had a great experience with quick shipping and good products, but it seems the company is having problems with their warehouses with orders getting through to them, and not getting shipped out in a reasonable time. Twice now it's taken over 3 days for the order to be processed because orders were misplaced, and I have also had a wheelchair pad come damaged as if were previously used, returned and shipped out again. Also, when an item was back-ordered,they never let me know until I called to ask why my order hadn't even been shipped after four days. Not only was there no email update regarding the delay, but it took Allegro two hours to even reach the warehouse to discuss the problem. Not once with all these problems did Allegro offer any reasonable credit or compensation. There are better companies out there with good prices, save yourself a headache and shop somewhere else. |

(Edited April 28th by lindabal) Prices were great but my merchandise received damaged and unuseable. They have ignored 4 emails (one to the President) and disconnected me 3 times when I called to try to get a return authorization number (which they say you have to have for them to accept it back). Never been ignored like this - very dishonest company. You are at your own risk if you order from them. |
