I made this account just for this review. Here the story: I've been shopping at amazon for chrismas presents since last week. Got everything delivered ontime. Things are going well until this point. Then I came across the Sony Vaio SZ650/SZ670 deal. which $300 lower than any retail store. So of course I went ahead and ordered 2 of them, which was on Friday(to be delivered on 24th). Then today, Sunday, when I go check my order status, my account was locked down with a stupid reason: The order for the laptop is suspicious and must be investigated because the billing address does not match. WTF!!!! I've been using that address since I had the card. Now I have to wait 2-3 business day to get contact from investigation office to clear my account. They did not even notice me about this problem by any mean so that I could at least change my plan and order the laptop somewhere else. Yay good job amazon. You've just lost your 10 yrs loyal customer. |

You simply can not get better than Amazon. This is the mail I wrote to them for their Splendid service for last 2 years First things First,I have been Amazon Customer for almost 2 Years now and ordered so many different things from Sandal to CDs( as you can see from my Order History) and let me tell you this , so far I was NOT given a Single Opportunity to contact the Customer Service for any issue. You provide such a Wonderful service and the quality of the products are so good, I never came to you for any Returns. But when I think about it now I find so unreal for a Company of such huge size and the number/variety of things I ordered so far . You guys simply ROCK! Keep up the high standards, I am EXTREMELY Happy to shop at Amazon |

This is the absolute best store on the internet today. Have ordered countless times from them with their free super saver shipping. This will usually arrive in one half the time they quote you. This company is awesome. I also noticed many bad reviews here for Amazon which compelled me to write about all my positive experiences with them. |

On December 17 I ordered a Panasonic DMC-FZ8K from Amazon.com after much research, online and store shopping. The product was advertised as in stock and eligible for next day shipping. After an additional $30 discount with the Amazon.com Visa, the price was $100 cheaper than the local Wal-Mart. I was skeptical that I would actually receive the camera on the December 18 delivery date. When I returned home at 3:00pm on the 18th the package had already been delivered. Both the camera and the spare battery in one package. It actually came in less than 24 hours after I placed the order. FANTASTIC!!! No problems, no hassles. I received e-mail confirmation of the order immediately after placing and later in the evening of the 17th notification that it had been shipped. I will definitely do business wtih Amazon.com again. |

I can't believe how many negative reviews there are for Amazon.com. I have ordered from them scores of times and have never had a problem. Amazon is the premier shopping website that all others should aspire to be. Their catalog of music and books is so complete I use it often as a resource. Many times they have the cheapest price, and even if they don't I will order from them anyway because I trust them. You should never hesitate to buy from them. The only reason I can see for the negative reviews is the sheer volume of transactions they process every day. Bad experiences get a review while good experiences don't. I have been happily using them for years and this is the first review I have written, and I am only doing so because I saw their good name being slandered. You can see there are (at the time of this review) only 353 lifetime reviews for Amazon, while I am sure they process thousands of orders a day. |

I purchased 3 items in one order and each was shipped separately, which was fine. The fist item arrived in about 5 days (the shipping box was not securely closed), the second item arrived in about 8 days and was damaged and used (it was rather challenging to locate the contact information, but once I did the customer service was great. They sent me a replacement and requested that I mail the original back to them free of charge) first two sent by UPS, the final item arrived in 11 days and was sent by mail. The disappointing aspect was that the replacement item was in worse condition than the first. I again requested a call(which came within seconds of the request) and they were apologetic and said that a refund would be issued in 2-3 days. Hard transaction, disappointed that we can't have what we wanted, however they did the best they could and over all I am satisfied with the customer service provided and the fact that they were honest and helpful. I will shop w/them again. |

I ordered a watch. The sale price included shipping. The shipping included was Super Saver. It said 7 to ten days. OK I can live with that. HOWEVER when I checked the order on line the item would not ship for 7 days and then another 7 to 10 to recieve. I called and was told to read the fine print. Any other way of shipping would be shipped with in days. Also the ad on your site said $245 when I clicked to go to their sight it was $247. It took six different pages to find the $245 price. This company is definately shady NOONE SHOULD BUY FROM THEM!!!! Amazon your name is mud. I will tell all my customers and friends about this |

Delivery Dates Bait and Switch. Over the past several years, Amazon repeatedly and routinely places items in the "Shipping Soon" category even when such items are *not* in any end customer destination shipping process. This makes canceling an order impossible, either via the Amazon website or by contacting Amazon's customer service. We received notification that Amazon would not be able to deliver an item ordered on November 17th until at least January 2nd, or as late s January 25th. Amazon's claims that an order cannot be canceled once the item is "in the shipping process". This practice is dishonest and utterly ridiculous. |

Absolutely no use calling the customer service. I bought this item on thanksgiving day and after 5 days I got e-mail saying that the order was cancelled, as my credit card was declined, and I need to re-order. Unfortunately, I went over the limit on my card on the same day, and I did relaize that at a different customer and paid off the balance imemdiately and asked the credit card prople to accept further charges. All my purchases went fine except amazon after that. During these days I was frequently accesing my online account and did not find any update on my product delivery. The issue of credit card denial was also observed at other merchants but they have called me and asked me for additional card details. Since,the price has gone up after my purchase date I nees to re-order for the same item I would have to pay over 30% extra price compared to previous price. I could have got the same deal at other shops on the same day. May be I should have done that. |

I've been a very satisfied Amazon customer since 2000. It has been very annoying to see its rating so low at PriceGrabber. I did most of my shopping online from various websites and so far I think Amazon is the best for both price and customer service. |

I ordered a video game that was in stock via the basic shipping. It was shipping from New Jersey to NYC. It took TWENTY FIVE DAYS to get here. I could've DRIVEN TO THE WAREHOUSE AND BACK IN ABOUT 2 HOURS. Unacceptable. Will never order from them again. |

Excellent. Item arrived on time. Item as described. I loved my son's Baby Dino Rocker! It has very bright colors and is perfect for a boy or a girl. I love all of the taggies! I found the Baby Dino Rocker through PriceGrabber, which told me that it was cheapest at Amazon.com for the product and shipping costs without the hassel. I decided to purchase from amazon.com because they offered the World of Warcraft battlechest for the cheapest price with shipping compaired to other major retailers. Little did I know however that they take so long to process your order and to ship it, it took a total of 16 days to process and ship my order which is totally unacceptable. Other merchants will usually process your order the same day or the next day but amazon.com took 3 days to process my order and it took 13 days to receive my order. I will definately be taking my business elsewhere next time I decide to purchase somthing else online even if it cost more money |

It's been 6 Business Days after placing my order was placed and one of the items hasn't even been picked up for delivery by usps. This is the worst online retailer i've ever ordered from. On another order they waited 1 month!!! until they said they couldn't fulfill my order. Terrible!!! |

Amazon has been a very good place to shop for years now. The only time that I had any problems was when something hadnt shown up here, they sent it right out,again, after they sent it out the duplicate also arrived. I think that was above expectations. Also I think it should be considered, that more than one person writing reviews here, have not even spelled the words right, perhaps that had something to do with the problems they have had. I would certainly encourage shopping there. Jann |

I love buying on Amazon. Tax-free & Free shipping over $25 on most items. I probably bought over 100 things on Amazon and never had a problem. They usually take about 1-2 to package and ship the product via UPS. |

I never had a problem with Amazon directly. This order was place on Amazon but through ANTOnline. It was an excellent price but poor internal tracking system. I would consider buying one or two items from them and that is it. I ordered eight items at one time, after three emails, four shipments, I finally received all eight items about eight weeks later. When I tried to return a sealed unopened item, they said no, order was more than 30 days old. So don’t plan on being able to return any items because by the time you get them, it will already be past 30 days. |

I paid $1698 for a brand new Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 IS USM camera lens. Amazon shipped me an used item and the packaging had no protection inside the box. I gave Amazon a second change to earn my business by asking for a replacement. They did not respond to my request at all. I will have to ship this back to them and a dispute with my credit card company. Stay away from this online shopping company!!!! |

I am completely unsatisfactory with Amazon.com because I thought this was too good to be true, the CD of Earth, Wind & Fire - Head To The Sky was unreal. I have been searching for this particular CD because I collect them, listen to them and am old school. I was elated beyond my expectation, until I received them and started listening to the CD realizing it is not Earth, Wind & Fire - Head To The Sky with 6 tracks. Instead it was someone else with 14 tracks. So, this has me thinking, do you burn CD and label it as Earth, Wind & Fire and with the covers as well? I was disappointed beyond comparsion. What are the procedures to return the product for credit? I hope to hear from you with a policy of return item for refund. I will not shop with you again. Thank you and have a great day. |
