Ease of purchase, speed of delivery (3 days), no tax (not in NY) and no charge for shipping (order over $195) makes AmericanHomePlus a terrific online retailer. I would highly recommend this company. |

This is a great place to buy higher-end items for remodeling projects. The prices are much more fair that what the contractor offers. Also, there is no sales tax for my area, so this is an additional saving of almost 10%! |

Placed an order for a bath light, it's been over 5 weeks and I have not been given any updates. I called to cancel my order two separate times and was given the run-around. Now I have a case open with AMEX to get my money back. |

This time the items seemed to take a while to be delivered with very little contact from the time items were ordered to the time they were shipped. When I called to find out, I got great service. I have ordered from this vendor in the past. Two items were damaged and they immediately took steps to order me new items. Overall a great experience and I will order from them again. |

I would never order from this company again -- in fact, I have just ordered a similar item locally. The original item, which was promised within a few weeks, was "placed under a pile of papers at the distributor" and was longer available. I had to telephone them to learn this. Then the customer service person promised she would see if the item could be shipped directly from another distributor. Again I was not notified of what was happening. Fed Ex called to deliver the item, but I was never notified that the item had shipped. BEWARE of this company. They promise but cannot deliver. |

The order pictured a pull & backplate.However, only the pull came. The company did not respond to my email re this issue & their phone rang & just discoconnected on the 2 occasions I tried to call. Had to order the backplate elsewhere. |

Placed order for item listed as in-stock. Credit card was charged immediately, but now when I called to find out why it had not shipped I am told the item is on backorder. I ask for a credit and to cancel the order, but was given a run-around about them having to "escillate the issue first". Now working with my credit card company to get the charges removed from my bill. Would never recommend this place to anyone!!! |

Web page for item made it look like more was included than actually was. No "must be purchase seperately" or "not included" disclaimers. References to non included items in produc overview and product details sections as well as in pictures. Order confirmation that indicated "Please Note: Some items have not been shipped yet. You will receive this information in a separate email" when in fact there was only one item being shipped. Rude customer service that didn't respond to emails or left you on hold for long periods of time. Didn't try at all to work out a resolution, but said I could return for 40% re-stocking fee (over $260) or exchange for a different item paying in full (over $700) while waiting weeks to receive a partial refund on the orginal order. Why would anyone give them more money when they so abused the original order? Buyer beware! |
