Strengths: Class D

Weaknesses: Not living up to it's power rating.

I have had this amp for about three months now. I am very unimpressed with the amp. I am running two HX2 12" Subs in a 4 Cubic Ft ported box. 1 ohm and it sounds good for the price you pay for the amp, but...I've had louder systems with amps that have way less of a power rating at 4 ohms. Would return if I could. Would reccomend for people who have a budget. If you could...spend a few dollars more and get something else.

This is by far one of the best amps available. If anyone is having power problems, it is most likely due to the fact that your power wire is to small. I have one of these hooked to a quad coil RE triple x 15", and it is extremely powerful. RE is also one of the best manufacturers of subwoofers. I highly recomend RE for subs. http://www.reaudio.com It is possible in the right applications to hit around 155+ db with one 15 triple x and jbl. These subs are similar to dd9515's in sound, probably a little better sound quality though.
