AlexanderAkulick - (August 05, 2004) A powerful and sturdy unit that will require a healthy power supply, this unit pulls an average of 43 amps from the battery. Use it with the engine running as it will discharge the battery quickly. Be sure to use the proper sized wiring and fuses at the battery to prevent shorts and burning wiring. You may need a stiffening cap. of .5 to 1 Farad if it dims your lights with the engine running. This unit has two automotive 30 amp fuses and protection circuitry in the event of a problem. It also has a triangular blue power LED and a nice sandblast and black finish along with a finished machined look. Connections are: (1) speaker level L&R input (2) L&R RCA line inputs (2) L

ben_davis - (June 05, 2004) this is an awsome pice of equipment. youd think its not good because of the price but man this gives alot of power. i have 2 mtx 4000 subs hooked up to it and let me tell you it realy creates some serious bass. i would recommed to buy this. and i will definentlay buy it again. my favorite thing is that it hasnt overheated on me yet. my other amp used to over heat like after 20 min of hard play. but this one hasnt

marin8n - (May 16, 2004) I would highly recommend this amp to anyone looking to add some punch to their car stereo. It is 2 ohm stable and works great with dual 4 ohm subwoofers. Not to mention, sony has a great reputation to begin with.

NICKATA1 - (01/22/2009) THIS AMPLIFIER IS VERY GOOD AND WELL WORTH THE PRICE. I'VE BEEN USING ONE FOR A LITTLE MORE THAN TWO YEARS AND NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT. MAKE SURE AND USE 4 GUAGE WIRE TO INSTALL.

omron400 - (10/20/2008) great amp, easily powers all speakers, head unit and sub. No problem. A small amp packs a lot of power. Vert satisfied with my product. Spent only $400 on it!
