McAfee not up to par in my book

Strengths: So far, it is great in crashing my system. I just love hosing off my hard drive and rebuilding it.

Weaknesses: Does not work

I have an Acer 9500. I installed Vista Ultimate, which is not compatible with lots of the previous applications that XP used. When prompted for an antivirus application to protect the system after Vista install, McAfee was one of the recommendations by Microsoft. What a huge mistake I made. I installed the so called, "Total Protection 2007" and it crashed my system. At first, it caused the system to drag. Then it got slower and slower to the point the system actually come to a halt. I cannot believe McAfee released this crap before they did a QA. Shame on McAfee for selling crap.

Now, about the scoring. Is there anything less than a "1"? If so, I'd like to chose that number.

yes this is true. Systems slows down your PC. And even at my first install it crashed. I will also go for any number less than 1.
