Posted Oct 1, 2007 - Many people have commented that it makes the system slow. When I initially installed this on my WIN XP laptop, it did make the entire system too slow. But then I found out another way - (below) There are some 7-8 products within this suite. I installed the anti-virus first (it installs the security center too) and rebooted. I continued to install products one by one, and allowed them to install fully. I did skip 1-2 products since I won't be using them. I hope this helps others. Works very well with Vista Home Premium. No Issues. Wonderful product. Better than Norton. Norton allowed my laptop to be infected a couple of times, and hence I bought this one. Must buy.

Horrible software DO NOT BUY

Quadruples start up times. Doesn't work

Posted Oct 22, 2006 - This shouldn't have been released. This software is the worst. It takes 4 times as long for my laptop to boot up. After I foolishly installed this virus software on my desktop, my computer hangs up everytime during the boot up process and now I can't use my desktop. Thanks McAfee.

Posted Mar 28, 2007 - I supposed to fill this space. I ordered a virus checker. I got a virus checker. There's something to be said for people who take a simple problem and do not make it a complicated one.

All in one place

Strengths:

Compact, non-expensive, easy to use and to configure

Weaknesses:

Web Adviser is not included to McAffe Security Center.

Posted Apr 14, 2007 - I have used McAfee VirusScan and Personal Firewall during 2 years. I selected these products after review and testing a lot of trial versions of antivirus s/w from another vendors. My opinion - McAfee s/w is compact, non-expensive, and easy to use and to configure. Internet Security Suite 2007 (Full Product) provides my possibility to have all set of protection s/w of McAfee on my laptop and to configure and control them from one place - McAfee Security Center.
