I'm glad I'm not alone in my negative feelings about this version of McAfee Internet Security Suite. 2006 was fine, but 2007 does NOT give you the options to delete certain parts of the program you do not like.
Yes, it slows things down, but more importantly that *#$% SiteAdvisor keeps popping up when you are using Google and accidentily run your cursor over the green check mark. Sure, I know McAfee is trying to forewarn people of "bad" websites, however, their SiteAdvisor is a real pain in my view. I just wish I knoe how to turn the *#$% OFF!!
Another irritation - With this version of SS 2007 McAfee thinks it knows best as to what is spam and what is not. NOT TRUE!!!! I have had way to many valid E-mails sent to their SpamKiller and it s a REAL pain to try and correct things. AGAIN, I wish I knew how to TOTALY turn this horrid feature off. I don't want to SEE that SpamKiller file again!!!!
Okay, enough venting.
Now what I need to know is who puts out the BEST product, has OPEN GOOD FREE technical support, and enables ME to taylor the software the way I want.
