5 Star Review Trend Micro Pc_Cillin Internet Security

cowgirl64 - (December 17, 2005) I have used all 3 major antivirus programs and own multiple licenses for all in all typical uses: travel, home, and at my business. Trend Micro is by far the best in all regards. It does not interfere with other programs (which Norton does). It seems to have a very high 'prevention &/or catch rate' for viruses and spyware. You can get a multi-computer license for home use (including your wireless) for a very good price. The price includes all of the annual updates, phone as well as internet support, and a superior performing program. Highly programmable concerning preferences and ease of setting. Does a better job of preventing specific viruses than our experience with McAfee. I ha

AlexanderAkulick - (November 29, 2003) Norton has allways had a good product and offers free trials of many of their products beforehand and a 60 Day money back guarantee. I recommend buying the retail box versions for their excellent booklet that comes with the product unless you are experienced with the Norton product you purchase, but everyone should try the free trials at symantec.com first - thats what they are there for - so you will know what you want. Oh, and that booklet - will cover ANY problem you may encounter if your system is running properly to begin with. The user with the complaints should look for other problems in his computer or just go to the new McAfee VS 8 where they will really find somethin

AlexanderAkulick - (December 14, 2004) Need some protection? This is the best one for home or small business. Just remember you also need a firewall of some type to go along with it. The included program for spotting spyware may not be better than AdAware's but who cares? I don't. I use it because it is an excellent anti-virus that gives me full controls over features. Anyway, AdAware is free and easily added although I've seen Symantec and AdAware report the SAME spyware and Symantec removes it more easily. Remember, during a Symantec scan, this antivirus is searching for spyware as well as viruses. Try timing AdAware and someone else's virus scan. It will be slower and less complete than Symantec provides. The

5 Star Review Kaspersky Anti-Virus

bpvette - (11/09/2009) Kaspersky is a great A/V product that works consistently with little overhead or maintenance. It does not try to upsell you on any of its other products or slow your PC way down if the license has expired and you have not had a chance to renew it yet.

3 Star Review OK

bloodmango - (06/11/2009) This software has been working OK for me since it is simply an anti-virus scan software. The software does not come with firewall protection or spam/spy removal. The price was reasonable. Be aware that your system will be a little slower than normal upon installation.

4 Star Review decent

bloodmango - (06/09/2009) New McAfee virus softwares have been improved in terms of virus removal performance. Especially, my computer system still runs normally after installation, which was not the case for the older version. So I think this software is worth it if you just need a basic virusscan software.
