I order a Viper5701 for my son. I ordered it online on Sunday with UPS 2nd Day Delivery (paid $22.00 for freight). On Monday I received a call from the company stating that the system would be delivered on Wednesday, which is what I wanted since I was off from work. So I waited for UPS all day on Wednesday and the system did not arrive. I called the company this morning (Thursday) and was told the system did not ship unitl Tuesday and was out for deliverry today. They said this was expained in the delivery e-mail I was sent. They never sent it so they sent it while I was on the phone with them. Hopefully a good product, definately a good price, poor customer service.... |

Don't use the 1-800 number to order. It sounds like they ship calls out to India and it is extremely difficult to understand the seller. Online purchase was a breeze. |

Long story short I ordered two Pioneer subs and they were on a big backorder so AVD shipped me two Rockford Fosgate subs which are much higher quality for no additional cost. So I am extremely happy with their service to say the least! |

Well, just ordered from AudioVideo Dimensions for the first time. We will see how the rest of the transaction goes, but I do find confidence in their affiliation with Google Shopper, Paypal and of course, listing their contact information INCLUDING street address on the site. Should be the minimum "common sense" test that consumers run on online retailers. |

After placing my Order for three remote starts, Two Viper 5501's and one Viper 5901 They called me 4 days later to let me know I needed to pay an additional $40 dollars to upgrade my order to three 5901's because they were unable to find the 5501's. I paid it, and waited for my order. A week and a half later 2 of them showed up, minus Door lock relays. I called them complaining about only recieving 2/3 of my order after they forced me to upgrade for them being out of stock of my current order. After speaking with the salesman and his supervisor for 2 hours they got me my other one sent out. The final remote start arrived on 14 Jan 11. Almost a full month after my order. This is the worst company to order from. Their customer service sucks. Their shipping process is horrible. I will not buy from this company again. |

ISSUE 1) POOR COMUNICATION: I sent request during order to confirm the correct part number before shipping, they did not. Have not received product, so may have to return upon receipt. ISSUE 2) In addition I was charged $ 14.00 for the "Free Shipping"- Pasted is their response " The Viper 5901 is free shipping but the additional accessories you ordered are not so that is why $14 was added for shipping" Please note that the alarm accesories were small suplemental parts to the alarm purchase and $14.00 would cover the entire shipment plus some"handling"(profit) Hmm- so you make the major purchase to get the free shipping, but then upsell yourself and purchase addtional accesories and guess what- the "FREE Shippping disapears!" Several attempts were made to reach them by phone, the phone system disconnects you after a short wait. I am still waiting for the shipment but I would not recomend to other buyers. |

I ordered a product that was said to be in stock and they gave me a call to say they might be out but they ended up finding it. When I got the package the box of the sub said dual 4 which is what i ordered but it ended up being a dual 2 ohm. Will verify if ordering there again. |

(Edited May 14th by 83bwebb) great prices, ordered a 12" pioneer sub and received in 2 days, after install i blew the voice coils apart and locked up the sub, so i called AVD and sent the sub back and they sent me a new one which i also received in just 2 days, i also placed another order for 2 10" pioneers a jbl amp and rockford fosgate 2 farad cap and received it all in less than 2 days from the time i placed the order, AVD is the best |

The ease of ordering and price was the main factor for choosing AVD. Paid for next day business early AM delivery and company failed to uphold their end of sale. CS did not call back and update me on status of shipment. I had to call back to find out. |
