Posted 1 year ago - I bought this after my wife and I had our 2nd child, 13 months apart. This was perfect for our needs. My wife initially bought a $400 McLauren which I promptly took back to the store because it didn't hold a car seat, and it was a side by side one which barely fit in the elevator, through the front door, or into the rooms in our house. I looked around a lot before I purchased this, and while there were others that I considered, most had a major flaw, like it didn't fold up to go in the car, or I would have had to buy new car seat, or the price was just crazy. This stroller met our critical needs, and met that critical price point as well. We are what you could consider power users because we have tested this stroller often and in a variety of conditions. This stroller goes with us to the park, the supermarket, and everywhere in between. Every morning it gets loaded up with kids and bags when we leave the house. When we come from the supermarket, we have all of our groceries loaded in the bottom storage area which holds a lot. The back seat reclines flat back and functions as a sort of bed for my nearly 3 year old when she's sleepy. Although it only allows for the seat to be upright or flat back, no in-between. I also like that at 6'2" I do not have to hunch over to push this the way I do with so many other strollers. When our youngest was still in a car seat she could snap into either seat, but we always kept her in the back seat, because the canopy would fit snugly over her seat and block out light and cold air when she slept. Beware in the summer though, it can get warm in there for a baby, but there is a velcro air vent that you can unlatch if the baby is sleeping that will let air flow in and out while still keeping it dark and quiet for her to sleep. Also the car seat has to be a specific kind of Graco car seat. We had several Graco car seats and they all fit, but some wouldn't allow the canopy to close over the car seat which wasn't ideal, so make sure you get the correct seat. March 09 will make 2 years since I purchased this for 129.00 and its still going strong. Not quite as strong as when we bought it, but it continues to get the job done and for 129 or so, I'll easily buy another one when I feel this one has too many miles on it. It becomes more difficult to maneuver over time, and the wheels are a bit creaky sometimes when you're turning, but the kids are also growing and getting heavier so that's a factor as well. Not to mention the heavy use and wear and tear we've subjected it to. The bottom line is there aren't a ton of double strollers out there, and I have looked at many of them. I haven't seen one this well designed that is also near this price point. Kudos to the engineers on this one, they seemed to get all of the important things right.
