rshearin - (April 10, 2005) I've used tape backup, dvd-rw backup, and now networked external usb hard drive backup. Symantec has an annoying tendency of creating DVD's out of DVD-RW's that can no longer be used by any software other than Norton Ghost. (You can argue pros and cons to that.) Stompsoft requires a set of (4) 3.5" floppies it creates using Your XP installation disk, The Windows XP installation disk, and the backup media in order to perform a "disaster recovery". AlexanderAkulick - (July 25, 2004) Oddly, Ghost 2003 comes packaged with System Works Professional 2004. This is quite possibly because, the product does work so well, improvement was not needed. I use it with all my networked XP system computers and it works flawlessly from my 4-1/2 year old Pentium III (800 MHz.)with its 30 and 80 Gb. hard drives (768 Mb. of memory) to my AMD 3000+ running at 2.249 GHz. with its four 80 Gb. hard drives and 1.5 Gb. of memory. It is also running excellent on an AMD 1800+ overclocked from stock to 2.0 GHz. with its 10 and 160 Gb. system drives and 256 Mb. of memory. f131 - (April 07, 2004) Save your money and avoid this product. I have not been able to sucesssfully duplicate one game yet. According to the box it will do all these wonderful things with a lifetime supply of upgrades, but with the most current version, (as of 3/04) games a year old will not copy successfully.

mbykin - (11/27/2009) This software doesn't work well for me. My drive is fine, according to all diagnostics and I have no other problems with it. I've been using Acronis backup for 2 years, and am fed up. It has frequent problems reading one or two files, and instead of logging the error and continueing the backup, it pops up a message on the screen and waits for user interaction. So, backups that should run overnight frequently have to finish while I'm on the computer (poor performance). I'm switching to a different product.

bloodmango - (06/11/2009) This ghost version really helped me out backing up my system. It was able to recover 100% of my system during a system crash. The software was easy to install and to use. It does its job automatically. I would recommend this one.

woodsley - (05/15/2009) I upgraded my system to Norton ghost 14 from the 12 version. I have been so far satisfied with this product beacause it does its backup work well. I think my computer is a little bit more slow upon software installation. Overall I am happy and would stick with this product in the future.
