swedenboys - (July 03, 2007) Purchased to use with kids & at family gatherings, and it has been perfect for this purpose. We've played with ages 9 to 72 and all have enjoyed. It has not frustrated our younger players like badminton or tennis sometimes do, because they don't have to worry about hitting it over a net (though you can opt to play it on a tennis court if you so choose). As long as the speeder falls within the boundaries it is a good shot. It is easy to set up & easy to learn how to play. It can be played just for fun, or in more competitive ways. It can be played on the beach, in the yard, on a tennis court, or most anywhere that you could set up a court big enough to hit the speeders back and forth. The car

amtse - (11/03/2008) I was actually shopping for badminton at the recommendation of my doctor to play some sports as a way to exercise/lose weight. I was skeptical about badminton because I know we could not play when it was windy outside. The Speedminton set was sitting right next to the badminton set in the store, and I read the brochure that came with it. I decided to give it a try. My 10 year old and I had so much fun playing that we did not want to let go until it started to get dark outside. The birdie flies high and far even when there is a breeze, so it makes you run and gives you a nice work out. I bought another set just so we can have a 4 player game. Highly recommend this set.

snyjunk - (07/24/2008) We have been playing in our back yard and it has been one of our kids' favorite games. We recently went to some local tennis courts and played and that was really fun, also. My husband and I have even sneaked out and played by ourselves! This is a perfect family game for adults and children of all ages. We highly recommend it!

The carry case provides for easy storage and transportation of all the equipment required for the game. It is light weight and does not take up a lot of space. The only negative I have noted so far is that it only comes with 2 rackets, so if you wish to play a 4 player game you have to purchase an additional set because they do not sell the rackets separately.
