5 Star Review GameFace Clear Sports Safety Mask

amdemoss67 - (July 03, 2007) My daughter is a fastpitch pitcher and was hit in the head with a line drive that literally left the seam marks on her head. After that injury she agreed to wear the mask even though it isn't deemed "cool" by some players. It took her about an hour or two to get used to it and now she doesn't feel comfortable pitching or playing the infield without it. I think it would be a good idea to have the ASA mandate that pitchers wear these safety masks. It was well worth the $40.00 to keep my kid out of the ICU!

It goes on easy, and if you have a ponytail you have to shift it a little bit. The manufacturer says it can be worn with a hat or visor, but this is false. You would have to wear the hat so high up on your head that it would fa
