I would highly recommend this company. I bought a 200gb HDD from them and it came very quickly all the way from CA (im on the other side of the country) by DHL ground. They item was packaged very well and they communicated well with me. Good company |

The product did not work. It took 2 phone calls, 2 emails and a fax to get someone to respond. Then I had to pay to ship the defective item back. |

I was a bit skeptical because of the "bare-bones" appearence of their web site, but hopefully all goes well. Also, I've purchased a hard drive, and although it doesn't say anything about being refurbished, there's no mention of a manufacturer's warranty. Makes me wonder...but still a good price. |

I bought this through pricewatch.com where I was told that shipping was free and that I had a 1 year warranty. When I went to actually buy it at Bason, the site was very confusing because it said a "VIP" warranty (1 year) was 15% extra and that there was $9.00 UPS ground shipping. I eventually could tell that there was an option for free shipping and a 1yr warranty was included but it took a long time to figure this out. On the whole however I was satisfied with the purchase. Retailer Response (06/14/2006): Hi, The Free Ground Shipping we offer is for any ground shipping whichever we use, including US Mail. However, some customers prefer Commercial Carriers, that is why there is also a selection for UPS Ground Shipping with charge. The site was responsive enough however, I didnt quite understand the re-certified. I HOPE they didnt mean that it was a refurbished product because it DID NOT SAY that it was in the body of the text anywhere. |

Great merchant and a fantastic price but as far as the charges placed on my credit card, I had to get my bank involved in order to get them to admit that 3 charges had posted to my card over a 2 day period. Thank goodness 2 were reversed but still a bad problem. |
