Absolutely the worst online shopping experience I have ever encountered! I ordered one Panasonic 42px600u plasma via their website on November 26,2006. The website states that it is in stock. The frieght company they use emails to me the tracking number after I spoke with a BestBuyPlasma.com service manager to confirm my purchase. So far, so good I thought. I was supposed to receive my tv on Dec 06, 2006 After not receiving any notice of any kind by Dec 9, 2006 I called the frieght company and they admitted to me that the tv was lost in transit and they can't locate it! At that moment I contacted my credit card company to cancel the payment to BestBuyPlasma.com I called customer service at BestBuyPlasma.com to cancel my order and they told me my credit card would be refunded the full amount in 24 hours. That call was made on Dec 11,2006 and to this day (Dec 23, 2006)I still have not received a credit to my credit card or even an email or phone call to discuss this problem! Never again! I highly recommend using Best Buy Plasma and I have already recommended the site to over 10 friends. Initially I was cautious about ordering a 60" TV from a website and not a National Chain. After talking to the people before the purchase I completed the sale and the results were very pleasing. They helped me through the entire process, the product was shipped in the exact amount of time they stated. The shipper was very curtious and the WHITE GLOVE shipping was worth the money as they removed the TV from the box and helped me to put the TV exactly where I wanted it. These guys really have their act together and I will look to them first when purchasing any other electronics. Overall Rating

I ordered a 50" Panasonic Plasma TV from Best Buy Plasma.com Product was shipped promptly in excellent condition in sealed original packaging from manufacturer. I would highly recommend Best Buy Plasma to all considering purchasing a plasma TV online. Fantastic pricing and quick delivery! I would not hesitate to purchase again from them. (Edited December 10th by paulyo)  Ordered plasma on 11/30/06. After item did not show up in shipping tracking, called Best Buy Plasma on 12/5/06 and was told it was shipping that day. No tracking by 12/7/06, called BBP again and told it was shipping that day. No tracking 12/8/06, called a third time and was told same old story, shipping that day. Demanded to speak with a manager. He said it was out of stock, despite the website status of IN STOCK and their cust service LYING to me about it shipping and NOT IN STOCK. What would it have been hurt to be truthful? The manager promised it would ship 12/8/06 or refund shipping/handling costs. I must commend the manager that he handled the situation and offered a reasonable solution. It is now on shipping tracking and is projected to be delivered after 12 working days (instead of 5-10). That doesn't bother me so much as the inaccurate information willfully given to me. BBP TELL YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE NOT TO LIE TO CUSTOMERS. Overall Rating

Placed order on November 27 for product (Denon receiver) supposedly stocked in vendor's warehouse. On November 28 received an email that the product was being packed at warehouse and would be shipped in 2-5 business days. Inquired on December 1 and was advised that there was a delay because of back order with manufacturer. Said that "they" (Denon) should be shipping out by the end of next week." So the product was not in stock at time of order, and was not being packed and prepared for shipment as claimed earlier. When will BestBuyPlasma ship to me? They can't say since (because they didn't have the product in stock) timing is dependent on the manufacturer. Overall Rating

Deceptive practices,After calling them (Best Buy Plasma) first to verify TV's were in stock I ordered 2-32" LCD's From start to cancellation I was promised shipment 4 times during 4 separate phone calls. When I called to cancel order (after 9 days with nothing happening) the story changed to , yes you are right we did'nt have them in stock but we do now and they are shipping at the end of the day (12/1).Told best buy plasma I would call them back in five minutes. Hung up to think it over (stupid on my part) then decided to call back to cancel, they would not even answer the phone (my average wait time per call was 15-20 minutes)Finally got the order cancelled.The BBB sign on their web site is not valid, BEST BUY PLASMA IS NOT A MEMBER OF THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU just click on the BBB sign on their site.Also my credit card was charged before anything even was shipped out. Bottom line, BEST BUY PLASMA , as calmly as I've ever heard, lied repeatedly concerning this order Overall Rating

If you are buying a big ticket item such as a large LCD or plasma TV, be prepared to wait 2-4 weeks to get it. They DO NOT have anything IN STOCK as their websites state. Read the other reviews as they are very similar if negative. You place your order and then it takes them a week or so to find your product and then get it to one of their warehouses and then up to another week to get it shipped to you. For example, I ordered a 55" Sony SXRD TV from them. They are in NY yet my TV started from Miami. Go figure. The TV arrived fine and I was able to pick it up as the shipper was located a mile from my work. I got it a day earlier because of that. I ordered on 10/17. I got the 'ol verify my information call the next day - 10/18. I got the product shipped email on 10/23 and the product arrived on 11/1. I wouldn't buy from them again and I wouldn't recommend them to any of my friends. Do your homework before buying! Overall Rating

Email Sent to Best Buy Plasma ---------- I was told last Tuesday that my TV was shipping that day but as of Saturday, it still has not shipped. You have not answered your phone for the last 3 days. You have not returned my voice mails or emails. therefore I must assume you have gone out of business. I want to cancel my order. If the order is not canceled, or I do not hear from you, I will refuse delivery and will contest the credit card charge and not pay for it. I have made every effort to contact you and all has failed. I bought a 40 inch Sony LCD Monday a week ago. I paid for expedited shipping. It has been 10 days now, and no one there can tell me where or when the tv will show up. This morning, I have been trying to contact them and their telephone systems says "thank you for calling Best Buys--good bye" and hangs up. During the past two weeks, I was told the tv was on back order, I was told it had shipped, I was told that they moved warehouses and that caused problems, I was told that they had distributed warehouses all over the US, so I would have my TV in 2 days. Still no TV Overall Rating

I highly recommend BestBuyPlasma for pricing and customer service. I purchased a plasma TV in 2003 and LCD in 2006. Both times my expectations were exceeded. Mark, the Manager worked directly with me to resolve an order error and made excellent service recovery. I even tell other people shopping at TV retail stores to go on the web and get one from BESTBUYPLASMA. We feel very fortunate to have found them on the web in 2003. Add'l info shipments are insured, some places don't do that. TV's are delivered in excellent condition. Overall Rating

Purchased a SONY - KDS-50A2000 50-IN Grand WEGA SXRD Rear Projection HDTV with standard shipping. Recived an email that I had to call them to confirm my mailing address, was expecting a big sales pitch for extended warrantee's, didn't get any, was on the phone less than a minute. TV arrived 14 days later, was hoping for a quicker delivery, but they do have tracking and delivery driver did called (6:15am) to see if I would be home to accept delivery that day....No problems with the tv, box was in excellent condition..TV is great. Recommend BestBuyPlasma, Pricing was fair and they offer online tracking of product.... Overall Rating

Getting through the shopping cart and checkout is very slow on a dial-up line. Although the site shows the product in stock, others have complained that this is not always accurate. Same as several other reviews. NOTHING IS IN STOCK!! Ordered a Samsung DLP and while waiting on my identity to be ??verified?? they suddenly sold all of this model. They ask me to switch to a different model. I say I will think about it. I check my order again and order was changed to other model (without my consent). Next I get a call that my order is clear, but the TV I ordered is out of stock (actually the TV they changed me to) and that they had another in stock. The other TV was $350 more than what I ordered. Cancelled the order and they were not concerned or worried. Guess they have plenty of other people to jerk around with no time to mess with me. Be aware that price is cheap, but you will be jerked around and will be pushed to get a TV that you did not order. By the way on the last phone call...the TV's that they said were previously out of stock and had a 1-3 week leadtime, were now OBSOLETE! At least get the LIES straight! Overall Rating

Placed order online 8/14. Website listed product as available. Called on 8/16 to check status. To store's credit they were waiting to confirm address on credit card. I added shipping address as alternate on credit card. Customer service said order will be processed immediately. Called back, customer service transfers me to sales. Sales person tries to sell me extended warranty. I'm not interested in warranty. Only at this time did the store tell me the product was back ordered, though their website lists product as available all week. Called 8/18 to check when back order would be in. Customer service says only supervisor knows the answer but not available and I should call on Mon 8/20. Called back on 8/20, supervisor not in. Was told supervisor would call me 1 hour later. No call from the supervisor. Called back 2 hours later and cancelled my order. Classic case of bait & switch - listing product available, trying to sell ext warr, then out of stock. Overall Rating
