One of the best

Weakness: Black and white screen

Any one looking for good graphical calculator. any one can certainly solve any problem using this calculator. it's big screen, style and functionality makes it perfect. It's even cheaper now. I bought it for GBP68.

Great Calculator

Strengths: Much cheaper than TI-83 and has same functions.

Weakness: Must read manual to learn how to use all the features.

This calculator is very good for high school. A bit bulky but still great. I highly recommend this calculator. The graphing functions work great. Wish I bought the color display though.

Pretty good calculator for the price

Strengths: Cheaper than the TI-83

Weakness: For those schools that require it, it's not the TI-83.

I had to get a graphing calculator for my 14 yr old, who's a freshman in high school, and the school's insistence on the $70.00 TI-83 was ludicrous. I saw this one at the office supply store for about $30 less. After researching some reviews, I purchased it and have been pleased. Even though it's still complex, it's a lot easier to work with than the TI-83, and it pretty much does the same things for less. When I took my first Calculus class in college, I had a graphing calculator that cost about $30. It did everything that I needed it to and more. Why a $70-$80 graphing calculator would be needed for 14 year old kids, most of whom interest in math will surely disappear upon graduation, is beyond me.

Great Calculator!

Strengths: Large screen. All the functions you need for Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Calculus and even business. So many great uses.

Weakness: Takes a little getting use to after using the TI-81, but after using it, it is quite easier to use.

I was really unsure of getting this calculator. I was originally looking at a TI-86 or TI-89. But I was looking at paying around $80-100 at a store. I ended up paying $57 for this one after taxes. I wish I would have known about this on the computer but I really needed a calculator fast for a test that I needed to do the next day, so online was not an option for me.
I was scared I was not going to know how to use it but after playing around with it for about an hour I got the hang of it. I definitely recommend this if you are not required a specific calculator for class or etc.

Strengths: I can draw various Graphs as I want. Easy to use. Nice and cute Design. Great Price!

Weakness: There is no compatibilities with Texas Instruments one. So, it's somewhat hard to share the informations with your friends.

I ordered this online as soon as I started online shopping. when I just got it, I had some doubts, but using afew days I was really pleased with this calculator. I love this nice and cute design. Also It is really easy to handle even if there are so many fuctions in this calculators. I highly recommend this for engineering student as an engineering student myself also.

Awesome calculator

Strengths: It's got all the functions I need, and it's user friendly

Weakness: The size is a bit bulky

This calculator is perfect for almost all mathematical and graphical functions, all the way from high school to undergraduate study. I've got the older version (not this upgraded color version) - but my younger sister is using it, and I'm getting this one for myself. It's cheaper than TI calculators of its level, and you'll get the same functional use. I recommend it to everyone.

Casio FX-9750GPLUS Calculator

Strengths: This calculator is easy to use once you get used to it. It has a comparatively lg screen & all the graphing functions needed for calc, pre-calc, chem, physics, etc.

Weakness: the unit is somewhat larger than others and a bit heavy. If you are used to TI 83 it is rather different to use.

The price is definitely right! It is a great unit for functionality in comparison with TI calculators which cost over $50 more. Comes with hard cover for protection of keys and screen.

Casio FX-9750GPLUS Calculator

Strengths: Almost the Same functions as the Ti-83. Nice interface. Great Price!

Weakness: You will be probablly the only one using it in your class when everyone is using a Texas Instruments one. Anyway being unique is great.

I ordered this online and when I first got it, I had some doubts, but after opening the package and playing around with it, I liked it more and more. The menu is so user-friendly compared to the TI-83. And everything is grouped accordingly to what they do. Though it took me some time to getting used to it, patience is the key. I highly recommend it for a student or anyone in need of one.

Casio FX-9750GPLUS Calculator

Strengths: Great features Connects to computer Solid calcultor

Weakness: Color

I have used the Casio fx-7700G previously and was very happy with it. I found the Casio FX9750G Plus on sale and an office store and couldn't pass up the deal. Not only is it made by a quality company (Casio), it has upgraded memory, graphing abilities and is able to connect to you computer. Other than the color, this is an outstanding calculator. You can use it on SAT/ACT, and other college exams. Go get one today.

Casio FX-9750GPLUS Calculator

Strengths: price, graphical icon menu, easy usage

Weakness: layout (personal taste)

This is a great Casio calculator especially for its low price. The FX9750G has a similar user interface than my TI-82 (that I brought 12 years ago) the graphical icon menu makes it very easy to walk trough the different features and functions.

Casio FX-9750GPLUS Calculator

Strengths: Good functions and menus.

The menus make this calculator easy to use and understand. The functions are really useful; two in particular that I've used the most are the equation solver and the matrix calculation, which simplifies calc steps and saves time.

Casio FX9750G+ calculator

Strengths: Price, decent quality

Weakness: It ain't a Texas Instruments 83 It isn't a TI-83

I bought the Casio because it was on sale. It's a decent machine, with very similar features to the TI-83. The programming seems to be its weak point, but most people don't use that anyway.

I saw one parent's review, saying that he saved a few bucks by buying this calculator. What he didn't know was that there is enormous pressure on school systems to use the TI 83 calculator, and when they're talking about that machine in class, his offspring won't have the vaguest idea of what they're talking about.

Let's see. I've got two TI-86's, a TI-92, a TI-80, a TI-89, and on and on. The TI-89 is the best of the bunch, but there's nothing wrong with an 83.

I might add that Hewlett Packard still makes the best calculators, but they are tricky to use. Once you figure them out, though, you can run circles around other people with lesser machines. But they don't sell.

I think, personally, that just out of social pressure, the 83 is the one to get. Others may differ. There's nothing really wrong with a 9750
