jzorn - (January 21, 2005) I received my AVS5811 from B & H Photo right on time. I had previously ordered a 2.4ghz unit and had interference from cordless phone and blocked my wi-fi network. I must have spent 3 hours trying to get it to work good. Finally gave up. Then found the AVS5811 at Price Grabber and ordered it from B & H. I removed it from the box and plugged it into the cable box, put the receiver in my bedroom, hooked up the remote IR extender and turned it all on. Immediately there was a clear picture and good sound on my remote TV in the bedroom. Not one line on the screen and crisp clear sound. The remote IR worked well too once I got it positioned on the cable box where it worked best. My

madpioneer - (January 24, 2005) I was somewhat skeptical about the Sima SCC 2 and what it could accomplish. I was fortunate to find a local electronics outlet that carried this model. I needed the option of returning the item and full factory warranty in the case that it did not perform up to my expectations or properly. Having recently received a very nice DVD recorder with a hard drive I thought it would be a snap and fun to back up all my rare and out of print concerts and animated cartoon Laserdiscs. Well it was a disappointment to say the least and not fun at all. Even using s-video connections the results were lacking. No matter what I did, even using sophisticated double-shielded cables did not cure my dilemma. When

clof - (June 13, 2002) I would suggest either using your camera to rewind your tapes or try a different rewinder. If you find a good one write a review here too.

humanengr - (09/06/2008) We were concerned about being able to find a replacement battery for our older Sony camcorder, and were very happy to find this at a reasonable price. The product is indistinguishable from the original. No complaints so far.

anandgk - (08/30/2008) This is excellent gold plated cable for producing high quality picture. If somebody wants good quality picture to be viewed this cable is must otherwise one can use the standard cable that comes with camcorder.

pcneeds - (07/27/2008) Got this for my Sharp camcorder and it worked fine. The cassette needs to be run for 10 seconds and taken out. The instructions say that the cleaning cassette should not be used if the camcorder does not work after 5 consecutive uses. The tape can be used twice - not sure how many 10 second cycles that works out to.
