Posted Sep 10, 2007 - I purchase two of this from amazon.com best price at that time to used with my new HDR-HC7 HDV camcorder. I get about 4-5 hours of recording time using the swivel screen and not turning off the camcorder and just letting it go to default stand by mode. as always it gives you info on your battery life status on the screen.This battery takes a long time to charge to full. I usually just leave it plug in for the whole night. My only concern about this is its weight making the camcorder a little bit out of balance. and the price paid 105.00 for each of this. did not attempt to get a generic one afraid of destroying my $1500.00 camcorder.

Posted Dec 3, 2007 - Nice I would use it again. Battery charge quicker than what I thought it would. Is larger than what I expected. Works better than orginal battery.Should have bought this when I got my cam-corder.

Sony NP-FH100 3900 review

Strengths:

Long Lasting & quick charging - Good Buy Worth the money for Long Recording sessions.

Weaknesses:

Bulky & Protrudes more than the allocated space for the Battery .

Posted Jun 2, 2008 - I have been using this with my Sony SR-11 Camcorder. The performance has been excellent. I had paid 33% less on the Net compared to Sony Retail price which is another plus.

One ok - one a dud

Strengths:

Posted 5 months ago - I bought two of these for my Sony HDR-SR12. One of the batteries holds up to 350-plus minutes of charge. The second holds only 31 minutes per the camera battery indicator. Actually, it is not at all functional, for the camera turns off again after just a few seconds. I have tried to charge the battery with the camera charger as well as with a second charger for as much as 24 hours, without avail. The second battery is a dud. Unfortunately, I did not find out about this defect until after the 30-day return period.

High capacity

Posted 1 year ago - This is excellent high capacity battery. Once charged for overnight it give nice throughput for hours for shooting. The only issue i found which could be problem is the weight. Added to camcorder will make it little heavy.
