skvaish - (July 18, 2004) A great battery, I hope this will work for me for great long time. I bought this battery as a spare for my camcorder as a spare for the original battery which came along with my camcorder but works for only 1 hours. I needed a battery which lasts for 5-6 hours.

Ryanwei - (June 14, 2004) This is a very good battery, light, faseter recharged. When full charged Could use as long as 4 hours, much cheaper than NP-FP90.I think this is a best choice for using my sony-DCRHC40.

sandman1999 - (September 10, 2007) I purchase two of this from amazon.com best price at that time to used with my new HDR-HC7 HDV camcorder. I get about 4-5 hours of recording time using the swivel screen and not turning off the camcorder and just letting it go to default stand by mode. as always it gives you info on your battery life status on the screen. This battery takes a long time to charge to full. I usually just leave it plug in for the whole night. My only concern about this is its weight making the camcorder a little bit out of balance. and the price paid 105.00 for each of this. did not attempt to get a generic one afraid of destroying my $1500.00 camcorder.

1 Star Review Camcorder battery

stuartguerrettaz - (11/06/2009) I think the battery does not function correctly as I tried to charge it overnight and the camcorder will not turn on with the Lenmar nmh22 battery installed that I purchased thru price grabber. The battery charger charges my other battery ok. The camcorder works okay with the other battery I have and on house current. I would appreciate a refund of my funds for the battery and shipping. Thank you for your help.

1 Star Review Defective Product

fjl01 - (10/24/2009) I plugged the charger in the camcorder and then into the wall outlet. The charger started to smoke and pop. I quickly unplugged the charger. My camcorder no longer works as it was damged by the charger. The camcorder had only been used once. If I had plugged in the charger and left the room to let it charge, it is possible that my house would have burnt down.

2 Star Review One ok - one a dud

Hsiebert - (06/19/2009) I bought two of these for my Sony HDR-SR12. One of the batteries holds up to 350-plus minutes of charge. The second holds only 31 minutes per the camera battery indicator. Actually, it is not at all functional, for the camera turns off again after just a few seconds. I have tried to charge the battery with the camera charger as well as with a second charger for as much as 24 hours, without avail. The second battery is a dud. Unfortunately, I did not find out about this defect until after the 30-day return period.
