4 Star Review Sony VCL-ST30 37mm 3.0X Tele Conversion Lens

pythos - (October 23, 2004) After trying out seven different 37mm telephoto lenses for my camcorder, this one does the job. The price was higher than I wanted to pay, however, this one offers a very crisp shot without the blurred distortion of the other telephotos I tried. There is some slight color distortion, but it's only noticable in digital still shots that are blown up. For a 3x5 photo, it looks fine, and it's definitely clean enough for video. This lens joins my Sony Wide-Angle in my bag, and they are both very high quality glasses. I highly recommend this lens if you can afford the price tag, as you won't be disappointed. I can now sit in my seat at the Chargers games and take video and still shots that make on

5 Star Review VCL-SW04 SUPPER WIDE END CONVER. LENS

pythos - (October 23, 2004) When I received this lens, I was shocked to see how big it was, it's as big as my camera, the Sony DCR-PC330, and it weighs more. With it on, the only way to set my camera down is to lay it on it's side. However, I consider this a minor inconvenience and worth the sacrifice. Now that the "weakness" is out of the way...this is by far the best lens I have ever used in my 4 years of working with miniDV. I love it so much, that I don't shoot anything without it. At .45X, it more than doubles the field of vision, and when shooting in 16:9 widescreen, it definitely makes my footage appear to be cinema-quality. Just as an example for the increase in field, I was at a football game this weeken

1 Star Review KUT-300 Hi 37mm 3x Telephoto Converter Lens

pythos - (October 23, 2004) This lens is atrocious. When fully zoomed in, the only clear part of the image is dead-center. The rest of the image is very blurry, slightly distorted with a round characteristic, and it has a severe color distortion. On the right side of objects in the image is a blue trail/shadow. The left side has a red trail/shadow. The images that I took with this lens were completely unusable. The camera I use is the Sony DCR-PC330, a high resolution prosumer camera. The images had the same problems both in digital still shots and in video. Do not buy this lens, you will be sorely disappointed.

1 Star Review Wide Angle Conversion Lens VCL-E07A for Sony Camcorder

vaughn93 - (08/25/2008) Used for football. Very unhappy with this product. Severely decreased quality of my video. Image is not identifiable past half zoom. More zoom equaled decreased focus. I will be returning this product.

4 Star Review Quality HD Wide Angle Lens

DRivera55 - (08/13/2008) I got this lens to use on my Sony HD-SR11 camcorder. This is the first time that I have gotten a wide angle to go with a camcorder, but I am glad that I did! I hate doing family shots, or interior shots where I cannot fit everyone into the image. That is no longer a problem with this lens. This is a high quality, 3-element lens. It is too pricey directly from Sony, but was a good deal through a PriceGrabber reseller. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

4 Star Review i like it!

ham0929 - (08/04/2008) Whenever I recorded people in a small space, I couldn't put everyone in the pic without this lens. Now I am so happy that I can put twice space with this lens in my movie!
