Strengths:

Large 3.5' LCD for great playback 20X room Analog Input Great Night Recording Great Audio Microphone/ Audio Input Photo and Video recording on memory card Multi kinds of memory card accepted

Weaknesses:

Video can look a little grainy when DIS is on Still image is almost useless Included software is very weak

Posted Aug 28, 2004 - Just bought this from CC 5 days ago. The main reason to buy this is the 20X room ,3.5 inch LCD, very happy with that this mini DV acceptes SD card, you can record mpeg 4 movie in the memory card. The weak point is that the video slip in the card is only 20 seconds long. I am satisfied with the video played on TV. You can play the video in your computer via USB+software, but the quality is very bad. you need invest more to transfer great quality video in your computer because IEEE 1394 cable is not included in the package.
