A fine camcorder

Strengths:

Dual media recording, a view finder,a 2.7 inch screen and versatile controls.

Weaknesses:

It would be nice to have a built-in lens cap.

Posted Dec 18, 2007 - The camcorder is sleek and easy to use. The resulting videos are of good quality when displayed on a 42" 1080i TV screen. Battery life is good and the DVD media can be dubbed from the hard drive. Excellent and smooth zoom within the optical range. The stereo mic filter to reduce low frequency sounds (wind noise) is effective and useful. A very good machine.
