Strengths: beautiful design, large LCD sreen, easy to use, high quality of video

Weaknesses: take long time to download videos and pics to the computer

In a nutshell, it's wonderful! Compared to vcr and mini-dv, it's very ready to play with. However, the software "ImageMixer" seems not so good because it always died even transferring by USB 2.0. The choice of using dvd-rw might have made it not so expensive; otherwise, if you choose using dvd-r, too expensive, maybe.

i would like to say i had the same problem with the software dying wile transfering.

the problem isn't with the software, it's your computer. on one computer of mine, which has always had USB problems, it will die transfering. on all my other computers, i can transfer video just fine.

imagemixer is a simple yet powerful enough peice of software.
