Flip Camcorder

Strengths:

light and convenient

Weaknesses:

limited memory

Posted 1 year ago - This is a small and useful gadget. I carry it with me whenever I go travelling. The image quality is acceptable and it can be used as a voice recorder,too. Though it comes with some great features, the price is still a little too high, especially for the limited memory size.

Good Picture Quality

Strengths:

Good quality picture, good sound,

Weaknesses:

only 30 minutes record time, no software to download, need help installing. Very weak outer shell made of just plastic, if you drop it you need to replace it with a new one.

Posted 1 year ago - I like this camcorder but I had a very hard time trying to download into my computer. I had to go to their website to download. I think they need to supply to software with this camcorder. the shell seems very flimsy if you drop it then you broke it.

Flip Video Ultra is just what you need!

Strengths:

Super compact, Quick to use, USB is great, Very handy, Easy playback

Weaknesses:

None

Posted 1 year ago - First need to understand that this is for a casual, handy use occasions. This is not gonna replace your feature rich, quality rich high end camcorders. This is an extremely portable type camcorder that you use for convenience when you always wished you had one in your pocket. Filming and playback are one-button super easy operations. It is easy to use the usb interface than wires, etc for camcorder this size. And oh yeah it is extremely cool looking!!! I recommend it to any age group.

Highly portable video recorder

Strengths:

highly portable easy to use...even a child can do it! takes hours of video

Weaknesses:

resolution not the greatest only 2x zoom

Posted 1 year ago - The Flip Video Ultra Camcorder is extremely handy. Despite some very minor drawbacks it is an impressive piece of technology. The major plus point for this camcorder is the ease of use. It is literally as easy as flipping a switch! Highly recommended.
