It features a 2.7” (16:9) touch-panel LCD display for composing shots, after-which users can then use the unit’s powerful 40x optical- / 2000x digital- zoom to ‘close in on the action.’ Most notable about the DCR-DVD610 is its Hybrid Recording Technology, allowing video capture to either DVD, removable Memory Stick® Duo, or Memory Stick® PRO Duo. Once recorded, the content can then be played directly via a DVD player, a computer, a Blu-ray Disc player, and even a Playstation 3 console.
