My order was cancelled by the supplier who stated that due to staf losses they were suspending business ater they had billedmy CC. I was advised to contact my CC company which I did.The ordered goods were not supplied. |

best value online merchant After waiting 7 days for my purchase I went to their premises in Thame they could not offer any reason for the delay but offered me an upgrade for further £50 which I declined they then said they would refund my card Im still waiting ,In the meantime I have recived an Email saying they have temporarily ceased trading hence the revised low score |

Good website with clear information about stock availability. I await delivery in 2-4 days. Scrap my earlier comments. After a week the item had not arrived and when I emailed the company I was told they had 'temporarily' ceased trading. All outstanding orders would be stopped and a refund would be give. I have notified my credit card company. As of 23/6/11 the company website was still active. |

would havs been a lot easier with paypal they took my money knowing full well they had none in stock, told me they had ! waited in all day for del' when i phoned them 4 days later they then told me none in stock until 5 july bastards took my money and said nothing, 5to 10 days to get my money back ! no phone call or email never buy of them !!! |

The order was cancelled by Camerabox after 24 hrs, even though the money was taken from my credit card. The reason given was that I failed a security check by them! Phoning them was a complete waste of time! It is now 16 days after the order was first placed and the money has yet to be returned to my account. I have had to raise a 'dispute with the retailer' via my credit card company who will pay me back once I have completed a form and sent them the order confirmation and cancellation emails. They will then claim the money back from Camerbox. I will be reporting Camerabox to Trading Standards as this appears to be a scam!!! Thank god I paid with a credit not debit card. You have been warned!!!!! |

top class, smooth transaction, they took the money in seconds, but it took about a dozen phone calls and emails , 23 working days befor it was delivered, by then i had canceled my order. would not recomend them to anyone, |

(Edited July 01st by dave`s dangerous) I ordered a camcorder on the 8/6/11 invoiced e mailed and money taken from my mastercard account, on the 9th recieved e mail to say failed security check , after trying a long time to contact on the phone I was told could not help there bank stopped the transaction, yet they have my money, told this would be refunded immediatly , but so far no refund. my advice keep well clear...just been informed by trading standards that they have ceased trading.. |

Prior to delivery of the goods themselves in a timely fashion I'm very pleased that my details we remembered from a previous incomplete purchase attempt. Here's hoping the rest and most important part (delivery) goes as well. They took my money and then four days later cancelled my order telling me I hadn't past their security cheque. Still have had my money back even now two weeks later. Such shame, I won't bother with them again. Went to Amazon, stock was real got my Camera a few days later. Will be a long time before I show off piest again. |

First time I've used Camerabox - very quick and easy, pleasantly surprised. A little more product info would be good, although I was able to find that on other websites first before coming back to Camerabox for their excellent prices! many thanks. URGENT UPDATE!!! A week after placing my order it had still not arrived, checked website and it said Out of Stock! (There were 11 in stock supposedly when I placed my order). Emailed them saying I needed it by 24/06 latest, if they couldn't fulfill then cancel order & refund me.They replied & said would be dispatched beginning of July! I emailed back to ask them to cancel the order & refund payment. Now I have a reply saying they have temporarily ceased trading and all orders cancelled! Fortunately I paid by credit card & the issuer is pursuing for me. Camerabox website does not state that they have ceased trading! |

Abysmal!!! This is the only time out of thousands of online purchases I've made over several years from companies all over the world that I've reported to the credit card company and am claiming for reimbursement. 3 seperate orders over the course of 3 days for 3 flashes. Delivery was supposed to be 3-5 days. Items shipped on the 10th June and still no sign of the products. The customer service line is never answered and several emails so far have gone unanswered. Based on a similar trend of recent reviews I get this eary feeling they are trying to make as much money as possible before going into administration... |

maybe a bit more information on the camera or links to external reviews would be a good idea but overall very satisfied. That was my thought when I ordered it. It's now 9 days on and I haven't recieved my order. I emailed by day 5 and they replied but didn't give me a lot of information. I phoned by day 6 and they were quite sharp with me on the phone and tried to say that I placed the order on Friday night after 16.00 but in fact I ordered it at 23.00 on the Thursday. I emailed them today which is day 9 and no reply. Missed out some great shots from a short climbing holiday that I was on because of this |

I have promised Chris an excellent review and as such will be fair. The camerabox site offerred good value and professional products, both statements are absolutely accurate in my case. The service has let them down. like many I have been on tenderhooks awaiting the outcome and I have to say the negative press didnt help. Camerabox HAVE delivered a quality product at a good price as promised and for this I would rate them highly. I have a european camera with warranty and so dar it works excellently and is what I ordered. the card and case that I ordered also arrived safe and well. The service: the website does not warn about the security stop so I did not get the information as I do not check e-mail dail. To cut a long story short. Chris promised me next day delivery and it arrived, so for that excellent service Chris. Just wish they would answer the phone, reply to e-mails and provide courier tracking ref. At times I was frustrated but i hung in there and am pleased sofar. |

Ordered online, money was taken straight away, 2 days later I got an email saying I had failed security checks and that my order had been cancelled. Hopeless customer service - no help at all on phone (if you can ever get through to them) and even worse at replying to emails. Very strange they take payment and then do security checks. I'm still waiting for a refund and am going through my credit card company. Have heard many stories that items are grey imports rather than UK spec models. Would not recommend. |

Dreadful experience, didn't deliver after 2 weeks, didn't return calls, lied about stock, never got my camera. Gave up after 3 weeks and cancelled, lets see if I get my money back. Definatley a company to leave well alone, they may look cheap but they don't deliver. |

Getting through by phone is always a very painful affair, and call back within 30 mins service on the website didnt work. The website ordering process was relatively slick, but addresses needed to be entered twice. Ultimately my order was just cancelled by them after 2 days and at a time outside of their office hours so I couldnt call. It failed because of a fraud check (on details that I have used on every other online purchase). Their response when I managed to get through on hte phone again (after another 10 min hold) was just unhelpful and hteir attitude was extremely rude. I wouldnt use them ever again. Got the same product from a different online store (using the same details) quickly and efficiently. |

Appalling customer service. I was dealt with by a rude man called Patrick who claimed to be a supervisor. The delivery times stated on the website were not adhered to. When I questioned this he said 'we are struggling at the moment'. Seemed utterly disinterested in trying to put forward a professional tone. Will never deal with this company again. |
