700W RMS / 1400W PMPO - MPN: AW1200Q
Strengths: Strong construction, polished aluminum and vented voice coil makes for a strong sub. Looks & sounds good.
Weakness: The coil connections are on opposite sides of the magnet. Makes for long tap cables to go from 2 to 8 ohms.
They look great, it’s almost a shame to cover them up with a grill. But you have to protect them, that 2 inch foam surround is easy to puncture.

Audiobahn Excursion AW1200Q Subwoofer
Strengths: LOUD. Built like a tank, looks great, very inexpensive.
Weakness: Medicore Sound Quality
I am using two of these woofers paired to an Audiobahn 8002T amplifier wired at 4 ohm mono, with 400W RMS per sub. Each subwoofer is housed in a 2.0CF ported box tuned to 38hz as recommended by the manufacturer.
These things are painfully loud. I cannot listen to these at full volume for any amount of time. In the time it takes a song to play, my ears are hurting, head aching, and I'm thinking this cannot be good for one's hearing. Needless to say I don't play them at full volume, unless really wanting to get someone's attention.
Sound quality in general is good, although this setup (mostly due to the use of a ported enclosure) is not great for punchy rock-type bass. It hits the rolling lows (rap type music) like no other, and will leave your rearview mirror pointed in a completely different direction in no time.
I got everything I wanted and then some at a great price. I've used this brand before with other subs (Alum12 series) and amps, and I will keep coming back for more. In my opinion you will not find a better product for the price. Definately recommended!
