This multi-functional Aspire X-Cruiser mid tower was designed based on the recommended Chassis Air Guide Design Guide from Intel to achieve superior thermal properties. We wanted this case to look gorgeous, to have more features than most of the expensive chassis in the market, but at an affordable price. It is loaded with everything you may ever think of needing. The built-in air duct on side panel to funnel cool air towards the processor, and other system passively-cooled components, aims to bring out the best performance for systems running on high-end processors. There are two 80mm built-in fans with space for two more. The front temperature gauge, fan-speed controller, and volume sensitivity controller have been added to this case. The ever-popular front USB2.0, Firewire and audio ports have also been implemented. The superior cooling solution that X-Cruiser delivers can only be found on a small handful of more expensive chassis in the market. minimize

Don't Buy It!

Strengths:

Looks good on the web page. That's it.

Weaknesses:

Cheap construction, case feels light and flimsy, and the unfinished metal edges can draw blood!

Posted Sep 22, 2007 - The first thing I noticed when I unpacked this thing is how really light it is. On closer inspection, it became obvious that this was a really cheap case that feels flimsy and had unfinished metal edges ... I promptly proceeded to cut my finger on the power supply opening when I lifted the case off the floor. The construction is inferior, the metal is paper-thin. The best part is the blue plastic front panel, if it weren't for those gaudy-looking gauges. I didn't bother to proceed and am returning it today. Don't buy it! You can do better even at this price ... as I am learning to my detriment!

Great Case

Strengths:

The case looks beautiful on my desk. All blue leds bright enough. Good size for cord management. If you want a case with cool looks as well as a good amount of space this one is for you.

Weaknesses:

none, everything workes great

Posted Sep 4, 2006 - Very Pleased with everything. At this price, you can't get a cooler looking case. I don't regret anything. The assemble/test bundle is definately worth it.
