4 Star Review Excelent

Strengths:

Top 200mm fan keeps everything perfectly cool. Hdd cages removable and relocatable

Weaknesses:

just a little bit too small for my internal liquid cooling system (thermaltake bigwater760is) to slide all the way in.

Posted 1 year ago - this case is excellent i was worried that the hdd cages would only fit in either slots 1-3 or 4-6 or 7-9 but no they can be put in any slots which was nice cus then i could put my liquid cooling system lower down, so that if it leked it wouldn't wreck my HDD's or my CD drives. the installation of everything was easy and everything fit nicely. overall great case. and good looking too!

5 Star Review Antec 900

Strengths:

Very good airflow. Easy to work with. Great looks. Very sturdy. All 4 fans are 3 speed adjustable. Quiet with all fans on medium setting. Have yet to need/try high.

Weaknesses:

Power supply mounts at the bottom, which I actually like, but even with buying an Antec power supply the cords were to short to run around the motherboard. Wish the fan switches were external.

Posted 1 year ago - When the case arrived Antec sent an extra 3 120mm fans along for free. Seems they had some problems with the fans and rather than testing every case they just sent extras. So far every fan works.

5 Star Review Antec NineHundred

Strengths:

Great cooling, quiet for the size of fans being used, plenty of working space

Weaknesses:

none worth mentioning

Posted Feb 16, 2008 - When I purchased this case I was worried about power supply leads being able to reach, so I went modular and had zero problems. Building my rig was a real pleasure with this case, even though it took a little more time then usual to get my cables where I liked them since I'm not used to a bottom mounted PSU.All in all this is a great case for the price and I highly recommend it for any serious gamer.

4 Star Review Very Cool case in more than one way

Strengths:

-Fans Fans & four fans!-- -Nice design features

Weaknesses:

-Fans are ONLY MOLEX -+&- not labeled on wiring harness plugs -Pictures in manual poor -Back panel should have allowed for cable routing

Posted Dec 1, 2007 - Well I really like the case, but I was not happy with a few things during setup. (I bought this in Dec of 2006) maybe things have changed). The cable wiring harness didn't bother to lable which is + or + on the plugs (Small thing). The fans don't have a 3 or 4 pin plug end. Would have been nice to monitor things via motherboard/software etc. I thought that cable routing was problematic and the system could have used some hidden means for routing those things. I also think that the fans switches could have been given access mounting to the sides of the case for adjustment without having to remove the case door. Theres a rubber pad that I still don't what it is for. And not in manual?? I didn't experience the DVI problem with the GA-P35-DS3 although the Graphics card doesn't occupy the top PCI slot and if it did the clearance issue might be a problem. The case looks great. And the airflow is wonderfull. I am not a silent PC user so I haven't been disappointed by the noise, with them on HIGH x 4 + Zalman CNPS9500LED. I know I focussed on the negatives, while I am very happy with the case; it did annoy me building it. But I found it very sturdy. I laughed at people saying its heavy. Well, it wasn't before I put in a heavy CPU cooler, Mobo, 3 HD's, a DVD player, Power supply, & a heavy Graphics card. Come one that's what makes it heavy!!!

4 Star Review Great computer case, no doubt.

Strengths:

Great design, A lot of fans stock, Fans have speed settings, Solid build, and Easy to work with.

Weaknesses:

Front mesh becomes a lint trap, Fans are loud when set on High, Tools required, Heavy, and Light cannot be turned off.

Posted Nov 6, 2007 - This is a great case, not doubt. It's not perfect, but very few cases are. It's heavy so LANs are only a good idea if everyone goes to your house, but because it's heavy it is solidly built. There are 4 fans stock and each of them have three fan settings which is great, but once they are set above Low, it becomes pretty audible and there is no quick way to get into the case to set it to another speed. One of the most annoying things is that there is no option to turn the blue light off; yes, it looks cool until I want to go to sleep. Overall a great case which I'd buy again... wait I did buy it again.

5 Star Review Good case

Strengths:

Lots of airflow, easy to install motherboard and other extras.

Weaknesses:

Dust magnet, hard to find 20cm fan.

Posted Oct 29, 2007 - Brought this case to cool down my quad, installation was easy. When I turned on system, I felt really good airflow. The only problem is dust, so I have to put filters on the front. Another problem is the hard to find 20cm fan on top.

2 Star Review One of the few good-looking ones

Strengths:

Mesh and utilitarian facade. power button and the rest of the front panel on the top. Solid built quality

Weaknesses:

Wiring management nightmare Hello? No tool-less installation in the 21st century?!

Posted Aug 19, 2007 - Although it's highly subjective, I think this case still stands out from the crowd of corny, boring and tacky PC cases. The design team totally ignored the wiring management. As the result, it looks too messy to deserve a side-looking glass panel. If I could reconsider it in one a month of two down the road, I will definitely go for the Cosmos 1000.

5 Star Review 900 Case

Strengths:

Looks, Ventilation, Size, Price, Front Ports

Weaknesses:

None.

Posted Feb 14, 2007 - This case is simply awesome. Just bought it for a new system I'm building and have no complaints. Third Antec case I've used in the past years and once again no complaints. The ventilation is simply awesome with the fans included. Great for gaming or processes that require a lot of power. Highly recommended!

4 Star Review antec nine handred case

Strengths:

roomy, awesome airflow, thank you 200mm top cooling fan, perfect disain

Weaknesses:

air filters will be usefull

Posted Feb 7, 2007 - Simply great gaming case. 3 120mm cooling fans and a 200mm monster can keep any system coo. Just finished my new machine, it looks awesome, especially at night. Lot of room inside, great cable management. USB and firewire ports is up so it easy to access. Price kind of high but I believe it is well worth it. Very satisfied with my purchase

4 Star Review Excellent Case

Strengths:

Excellent cooling, room for many drives, numerous fans, great port access, slick lights

Weaknesses:

tight case, ports on top have pretty short cables

Posted Jan 24, 2007 - I got the case a week again and have been very pleased ever since. I previously had my "power rig" housed in the SilverStone TJ-07. It was an excellent case (built like a tank), but had about the same cooling system as a tank (i.e. not much of any). The NINE HUNDRED, though, is the cat's meow of cooling. I have two 7800GTX cards that generate a lot of heat. The vented sides allow them to bleed off heat much better than previous solutions. It's a great case! oh, and the lighting looks amazing in the dark!!! My only compaint about the case is that with the ASUS A8N32-SLI motherboard, the cables that power the top ports are hard to reach to the motherboard's connectors. I managed to make most work, but I can't use the headphone and microphone ports on top. Otherwise, it is a GREAT case and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a slick, cool case.
