Strengths: Holds a charge better than other cell phones I have had. My last BST-25 lasted well over two years.
Weakness: Only lasted two (plus) years.
Does what is supposed to do, power my cell phone.
I know I said that lasting two years was a strength and a weakness too- guess I'm not real sure how long one should last, and then again, I suppose that varies depsending on the useage.

Weakness: The battery completely gave out after 2 years
Sony makes a nice phone, and this battery holds a real good charge in standby mode. The talk time is good -- Also, for those of you who are not tech savy,installation is real easy :-].

TopStrengths: The battery powered my phone successfully, lasting well over a week with normal usage.
Weakness: Like with most (all?) lithium batteries, its ability to hold a charge dropped over time.
When I first got the phone + battery, it held a charge for well over a week without trouble. Now, 2-3 years later, it lasts only a couple of days -- a lifetime problem that lithium batteries share.
One thing that's a regular source of aggravation is that if I turn the phone off, a significant fraction of the battery charge is used up when I turn it back on. This means that I always have to bring a charger when I travel, because turning the phone off and on during an airplane flight means that the phone will be dead in a day or two.

The Sony Ericsson Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) BST 25 battery is a long lasting, quick charging, replacement battery used in the Sony Ericsson T616 cell phone (and others). This battery has a rated 770-mAh charge and powers my phone for over a week and a half (24 hours a day) with no incoming or outgoing calls. Talk time is usually over 4 hours (in addition to the 1-1/2 weeks of standby) and provides quite adequate usage for a relatively low cost. Also provides several years of service! RECOMMENDED!

TopStrengths: Packaged great, arrived really quick (ordered Saturday, arrived Wednesday). Phone holds a charge like new again, averaging 6 days with average use and BlueTooth on
Weakness: Documentation witht the battery would have been a plus, but it is a factory original.
This price was actually lower than most of the knock-offs I'd priced, and the knock-offs were lower powered. For a real Li-poly, I am extremely pleased with this purchase. Thanks for a great deal.

Strengths: Product functions great...I needed a second battery which allows me to change out when my charge is low.
Weakness: none other than I wished there was a longer extended life battery.
product was bought to serve as a backup so that as i travel and don't have time to charge my primary, i can pop in the fully charged backup. so far, no problems with the battery...it is doing the job i wanted it to do and functioning just fine. i have no complaints at all with this purchase.

TopStrengths: I received the batteries in nearly factory original packaging.
Weakness: No literature was provided to ensure that the batteries were: 1. for the appropriate phone, 2. that the batteries could be used immediately, or 3. intial charge time required before use.
Quite happy with the items condition, price & timeliness of delivery. Batteries were intially charged, but not to their full capacity. Leaving me somewhat concerned about establishing a residual memory within the batteries charging cycle.

Best battery I've had!
Strengths: Charges quickly and maintains its charge for longer than cheap replacements!
Weakness: I haven't found any...and don't expect to!
I bought an off-brand battery from some on-line source. I thought I was saving money, but actually I was wasting money. The battery didn't hold a charge. My original BST-25 lasted several years, the replacement less than a year. So I've gone back to the original BST-25 and I've already seen an improvement over the off-brand. This BST-25 is every bit as good as the original BST-25 that come with my phone. I strongly recommend it!
