Motorola Car Charger

Strengths: motorola brand

Weakness: none

Motorola brand name products are best for motorola brand phones. You're taking a chance with universal aftermarket brands which may ruin your device or reduce it's life span.

Great USB device charger for your car

Strengths: Cool design; Motorola logo lights up when charger is plugged in.

Weakness: None.

I love this Motorola car charger. The charger regulates the flow of electric voltage to my phone (Razr v3) much better than previous non-Motorola that I've used, saving battery life and phone electronics. In contrast, my old chargers would virtually fry my batteries/phone and result in a dead, unchargeable battery in 3-5 months.

This model is also very cool. The light blue Motorola logo lights up for added cool factor.

Motorola OEM Car Charger for Cellular Phones

Strengths: This is an OEM car charger for the RAZR V3m and the V325 phones by Motorola.

Weakness: None.

Since this is an OEM charger you don't receive the warning about an un-authorized charger being used. This particular model can be used by several Motorola phones (RAZR and V325 are two models).

Other uses for this charger.

Strengths: Versitile

Weakness: Durability of the USB plug.

This unit is a great mobile power source for more than a cell phone. I use it to power my Garmin Etrex hand held GPS unit. I can't say whether it will work for all electronics that need a power source through a mini-USB but it's worth checking out. The only problem I have had is with the durability of the USB plug. The first unit I had, the metal part of the plug loosened up and eventually broke right off. Because of where it needs to plug in on my Garmin, it ends up sticking straight out the back of the unit. It would be great if the plug was molded at a 90 degree angle. However, at a $6.00 price tag, it's not a problem if I have to buy a new one every couple of years.

Works as expected

Strengths: It works

Weakness: none that I can think of

The light that lights up when it is plugged in is a nice feature, otherwise, well, it's a car charger. It charges my phone battery, what more can I say?

Just Like The Seller Said It Was

Strengths: I went to Best Buy last week and I saw the same charger in the same box for $24.95. It charges very fast and it does have the Motorola logo lit up in blue. Not just a tiny LED.

Weakness: None so far.

It has a one year warranty through Motorola. It\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s just like the chargers that all the wireless carriers sell. It was shipped and I received it in 3 days in perfect condition. Brand New!! I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ll buy again from Malcom Wireless.

VC700 Car Charger

Strengths: Works

Weakness: Not a smooth feeling fit into 12V ports.

This comments section requires me to use at least thirty words. Are you sure this isn't a government run site? Everything that needs to be said about this particular product is above in strengths and weaknesses. We've used this charger and it seems to be doing it's job. The phone osn't fried and the battery is charged, Admirable. I'm not counting, that should be thirty.

great buy

Strengths: works great

Weakness: none

Same thing you buy from Motorola, but the price is much lower. Works great and I think the blue light on the plug is a nice accent. Can't imagine buying things like this locally anymore.

car charger vc700

Strengths: did not have to pay for shipping.

great, i would buy again. It was great to not have to pay for shipping. I recieved the two items i ordered in less than a week. And they work great. for a fraction of the price you would pay at the cell store.

Fast, Fast, Fast

Strengths: Faster than our home AC charger!

Weakness: None

There's nothing like the original. The Motorola VC700 fits all our odd auto outlets and charges our V-325 phones in less than half the time of our home AC charger.

All-around Great Deal

Strengths: Small, illuminates Motorola symbol while charging

Weakness: Light on my first one was broken, but Motorola replaced it with no hassles. I guess this could be looked at as a strength (good cust. service/warranty) or a weakness(slightly defective first product).

Verizon Wireless charges $29.99 for a car charger that is not even made by the same company that manufactures the cell phone. For around $8, you can purchase a Motorola brand car charger, which is dedicated to Motorola phones. Best Way to Go!

Is it real, or is it Motorola?

Strengths: It works.

Weakness: Its fake.

This unit (the $6.95 version at least) is not a genuine Motorola charger. I have owned several other genuine Motorola chargers with the same design (factory sealed plastic package vs. the OEM ziplock bag this one came in) but for different phones and build quality is definitely lower. Motorola logo is a different color and used to glow gently and evenly. Motorola logo on this model is more see-thru and the led illuminating is clearly visible. Also general finish of plastic used is clearly of lower grade than Motorola (this unit has uneven & shiny finish whereas Motorola's has a more consistent, matte finish).

It works, and truth be told, theres probably no special technology in a genuine Motorola unit that the fake one is missing. Of course, I've only had it for a few weeks and have only used it a handful of times so the question of reliability still remains. I guess it all boils down to this: if you're concerned about protecting your phone investment, maybe its worth paying a little extra for a more peace of mind. I got my Moto Q for free so perhaps I'm a bit biased. Had I paid for my own phone, this charger would be on its way back.

Motorola OEM Car Charger for Cellular Phones

Strengths: Motorola support equipment for my Motorola Razr

Weakness: None noted

This is a simple connector which allows the charging of my cellphone from the data port of my car. As it is a Motorola product specifically designed for my model of Motorola phone, the fit is excellent and the performance topnotch.
This replaces a generic charger which I had purchased for my previous cellphone, a competing brand. That charger remained "on" after detaching the phone, making the possible discharge of the car battery a real possibility. I was pleased to see that this new charger disconnects completely and the disconnect is clearly indicated by the large, lighted logo going dark.
It's good to go with factory authorized products when possible and by going through Pricegrabber I was able to get this product at the very attractive price of $6.95.

A must have

Strengths: Tight OEM unit with no flaws.

Weakness: None.

a must for the working professional that might need to recharge their phone on the road! I bought one for all our vehicles and it's already saved us from losing many important calls.
