GSM, Bluetooth, 0.3MP, 10MB - MPN: L6
Strengths: Style. Ease of operation. Cost.
Weakness: External memory incompatibility Applications downloading not provided. More features could have been provided.
Hello The L6 is a sleek phone, elegant and easy to carry. The length of the phone could be reduced or if it is to be maintained like this, the display could have been bigger. TFT would have been cool. The battery backup is not as good as the other Moto phones. Downloadable applications could have been provided and adding memory card could have been added as the feature as competitors in other brands provide all this at relatively nearer prices. Overall, if you are looking for a sleek phone with good features with the phone and the budget fitting your pocket neatly, L6 is cool

TopNote that if you like L6, but prefer a larger TFT display and a memory card, you should look at the SLVR L7. Those are the main differences between the 2 phones.
I am a cell phone dealer from Lonisland, New York and sold atleaset anywhere from 50 to 60 of these L6 phones. Unfortunately more than 80% of these phones came back with problems of drop calls or no reception at all. It is a sleek & beautiful phone but its a pity that it has a very bad antenna system. I hope someone from Motorola reads it and contact me or atleast fix the problem. finally, no matter how good a cellphone looks like, the bottom line is that its useless if you can not receive or make a phone call from it. Thanks for reading.

L6 Phone Is A Winner To Me
Strengths: - Ease Of Use - Ergonomics - Battery Life - Size - Speaker Phone Works Great - Features
Weakness: - Dust accumulating between the lens and the LCD screen. I keep it in my pants pocket all the time so it's a lint prone environment. It's not an issue. Just something to note.
It's my first non-flip cell phone, ever. I wondered how I'd like it. It took a couple weeks to get used to. I've loved it since. I'm a 47 year old guy. It's thin size makes for easy front pants pocket storage. I wear blue jeans most often and I have to check to see if it's there.
I quickly got used to it's shape. I wondered if it would be too thin to handle properly, but it's just fine. The dual ear piece makes for better hearing. I am a little hard of hearing so this is a real nice feature for me.
I admit I use the phone for basic use and also picture taking. No text messaging, no internetting, and no emailing, so I can't comment on those features it has.
The speaker phone works great. Very nice sound quality, even at high volume.
I use the camera much more often then I thought I would. For a camera phone, the pics are surprisingly good. Decent quality. But the zoom feature is a joke. It simply makes the picture that much smaller. With the USB computer cable, downloading pics on my computer are quick. Very user friendly too.
The phone user interface is nice. Menus etc. are all real friendly to me. But I admit, I've owned a Motorola V505 prior so I'm used to the way it works from the start.
I mentioned the issue with lint between the LCD screen and the plexiglass protective window. Fine lint particles infiltrate down by the keypad alone. It's not a problem......at least not yet. I only see the dust when the phone is turned off. When the screen is lit, it's invisible. I guess my tight cotton blue jeans makes for a dusty environment, rubbing the lint particles into the phone's crack between the screen and the keypad..
The phone has a nice quality feel to it. The battery life is also good. The phone charges with my house adapter and also through the USB cable. I didn't get a car charger yet, but I'm managing fine without it.
As the shape of the phone is over-all very smooth with no blunt edges or corners, it slips in and out of tight pockets without effort. I had wanted a Razr, but got a Slvr. No regrets at all.
I have cell service from Cingular. Here in the Chicago area, service is good.
If you are a "Basic" phone user who wants an easy to use, easy to carry phone, this is surely worth consideration. If I ever have to replace this one, I'd get another of the exact same phone.
