5 Star ReviewExcellent phone, great reception, nice clear scree ...

Strengths:

Full of well thought out functions...

Weaknesses:

Bluetooth has a problem about once per month.

Posted Nov 23, 2005 - Excellent phone, great reception, nice clear screen, decent camera, easy to use. over 6 months now with no problems, I can't say all of that about the other four phones I currently have or the dozens I have had in the past.

5 Star Review Most Excellent Phone

Strengths:

Battery endurance, Bluetooth, Live email, Internet on the go via GPRS, Speakerphone, Tons of apps designed for it

Weaknesses:

Makes your Ipod useless because its replaced by this phone.

Posted Dec 18, 2005 - I've had this phone over a year and feel I am well qualified to review this phone. First and foremost, I must say that this phone is a top performer as a phone. Coverage has been fantastic in my area and I've heard the same from many many other reviews. Also, call clarity is fantastic. I spend hours on conference calls each day and often take conference calls while on the road with this phone and my bluetooth headset. Folks I'm on the phone with say I sound like I'm on a land line. Then, move on to the fun stuff. The camera rivals any good camera phone on the market. You'll NEVER be able to replace a dedicated digicam with a phone cam. Accessing Internet is slow over GPRS, but its fast enough to go to the news sites and also fast enough to play low bandwidth streaming audio and video straight from the Internet. I've got a 1GB MiniSD that I upload MP3's to and also videos and DVD's I have converted using Video Vault. A full DVD can fit into 128MB and video quality is amazing. I use the alarm clock function every day. It alerts me when I have an appointment scheduled in my Outlook Calendar which is automatically updated via our company's OWA (Outlook Web Access) site. Because of this I recieve emails to my SMT5600 at the very same time they arrive to my real inbox. I have an RSS reader to auto download Internet content I'm interested in and iPodderSP to listen to podcasts. The few weaknesses: This phone isn't for those that need to send many emails. Its fine to send a few a day but the typing is still somewhat of a pain. The first few months of having the phone, I would often hit the cancel button while removing it from its carrying case while trying to answer a call. Its pocketable but, as a result, I've got a bit of dust under the screen.
