Posted May 16, 2006 - I previously owned a Samsung A540 was an ok phone but never lasted more than 2 days on standby modes and wasn't in colour. I upgraded to the Motorola Razr V3c with Telus Mobility. Awesome buy!!! Lasts 4+ days on standby and longer if you don't play with all the other features. I use a Motorola Bluetooth adapter to do my music transfers. VERY IMPRESSED BY THE RAZR! I would recommend this phone to everyone. But I recommend buying a case of some sort because it is apparently less resistant to scratches.

Excellent Phone!! Glad I got it

Posted Feb 2, 2006 - I have to say, this was the best cell phone upgrade I've ever gotten. Physical Traits: The Razr is light, and amazingly thin. I can barely feel it in my pocket, rather than the giant bulge of my old phone. Even though it is thin and light, it is wide enough to be useful. The buttons aren't so small that my fingers can't use them. (I've had this problem with some phones) Useful Features: Assigning your own functions to the different buttons is very nice. The screen on the outside (when flipped closed) allows for a picture in color, while also displaying all the vital info (time, signal strength, battery meter). One of my favorite features is that the only plug on the phone is a mini-usb plug. Plug your phone into a USB port on your computer and you have an instant charger! And if you buy the Motorola Phone Tools, you can transfer pictures, make your own ring tones, backup your contacts, all while charging the phone. Misc: Battery life is really very good. I only have to charge the phone every couple days. Keep in mind though, if you use the camera a lot, spend a long time talking, or play games on it... these things DO take a good deal of power. The Bluetooth is easy to use and works well for voice or data. Cons: Camera quality. Face it, cell phone cameras don't take good pics. They can be fun or useful, but if you want to make prints, use a real digital camera. This is to be expected. I do with there was a flash memory slot in this phone. With all it is capable of, I'd love to pay a little extra and have it hold a lot more.

Amazing even with a few negatives...

Posted Jun 16, 2006 - Overall, this is a wild high-tech phone that people still crave is just great. Even with the negatives, based on the innovative design this phone is ideal. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone considering it.

Nice Phone

Posted Oct 10, 2005 - I also got awesome reception compared to my old V300. It may be because of my new carrier (Cingular over T-mobile) instead of my phone, so I decided to put it here instead.

Great new Motorola RAZR V3 black

Posted Sep 9, 2005 - I bought my motorola RAZR V3 from Vin Sabnani's company and they were wonderful, great and prompt company. No hassels. If you want this product his company is the cheapest around.

Best Coverage and Service ever

Posted Nov 29, 2005 - I formaly was a T-Mobile member. I had a side kick. My biggest problem was that at night the data service would go out my signal was always weak and if I were moving fast in a car the data signal was weak. I have had cingular going on two weeks and the service is spectacular. I haven't lost signal for either data or voice services and the CS is great even though I had heard other wise. Cingular Rocks

Posted May 29, 2006 - Over all I have LOVED this phone I am quite glad I have it! The sleek design make this phone even cooler if you don't count the liquid crystal screen, the cool ringtones it comes with and much much more!!!! If you choose to buy this phone you will NOT regret it just ask anyone with a razor and they will tell you the same thing. The having to fork over all the money is worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Classy Phone!

Posted Dec 24, 2005 - I'm not sure why others are saying it doesn't have video capture. Mine sure does and I've used it several times in the two weeks I've had the phone. I purchased my phone. I wonder if that might make the difference in features? Those getting it free with a contract may get a different "version" of the phone? Mine came with a small library of ringtones. I've also added my own. I think it's great that it also has a ringtone "mixer" so I can create them if I want. I'm also pleased with the (optional) software that allows me to transfer images and data from/to my computer. The phone works great with the bluetooth headset. I love being able to associate pictures with phonenumbers. I also use the voice activated dialing extensively. It's a great feature to use while driving (if you must). This was a very cool early Christmas present to myself.

Cool looking but lack QC

Posted Mar 22, 2006 - Very slim and light weight that will entice people to buy this phone. It also has a contemporarily and hardy look but yet elegant in shape. I can hear unpleasant humming noise whenever I flip open the unit. Even after changing another unit, problem sill occurs. I also dislike the address book structure and it is not user friendly at all.

The display should be bright enough to see in bright sunlight.You can not listen to recorded messages on the speaker only on the earphone. The instruction manual does not supply detailed information. A suplement manual should be available to provide more information even if you have to purchase it.

Phone was free with one year of T-Mobile thru Wire ...

Posted Dec 6, 2005 - Phone was free with one year of T-Mobile thru Wirefly.com, but if I had know how difficult it is to read in the sunlight I would have picked another phone. Customer service at wirefly and t-mobile has been great. Motorola CS was..."it's that kind of screen that's difficult to read in sunlight". My phone is a silver OEM version.

Awesome Overall

Posted Feb 4, 2006 - Overall its a good phone. The bluetooth has a very long range I can leave the phone on the second story and walk anywhere in the house and it stays at the top signal. Could use more internal memory for games and pictures. It has crashed once or twice after hours of monopoly, but I wouldnt let that deture you. This phone is easily modified to bring out extra features, I would definately recommend doing this if you know how to use a computer reletively well.

Saved by the cool covers

Posted Apr 25, 2006 - Not all covers are the same. I've ordered several on ebay (about $3 apiece). The animal prints seem to look more like they actually came with the phone. I'm probably going to be getting about 2 months of wear each, but I'll be bored with them by then anyway. I like the plug in (even charges while it's hooked to the pc) and have a midi assigned for everyone I know. Camera isn't awesome, but very handy and can be fun. I'm still learning it and having fun as I do. The software cds by Motorola are pretty handy and have a lot of stuff on them. I have barely begun to crack the surface on them. Bottomline, as long as you have the cable and midis or mp3's on your pc you can just scan for them and put them on the phone.

wish I had stayed with Nokia

Posted Sep 27, 2005 - I like the look of the phone and the quality of the screen but I wish I had looked at some reviews before I got one on contract. the text is VERY slow and there is no video capture plus when I use the phone outside I cannot see the screen if there is even a hint of sunshine! i am pleased i didn't buy the phone and got it free on contract, I would swop it for a Nokia tomorrow!!!

Pretty good

Posted Jul 14, 2006 - It's a nice phone. Good for teenagers or people who don't use their phone for business. It has a nice body but the phonebook doesn't let you add more thna one number to a contact and if you do it duplicates the contact and adds it with that other number which I personally find annoying.
