When talking to RMA they said that they would charge a $75 fee if nothing was found wrong with the drive, but when I went to actually get my refund they charged a 25% restocking fee. This is extremely high for an unopened / never used item and is costing me over $500.00 on something that I have and will never use. Customer service gave me the run around the times that I called until they finally said that they would not wave or reduce the restocking fee. I would not recommend them for their customer service. They actually shipped an Ultra SCSI controller when they found the Wide SCSI I ordered was not in stock. Customer service offered to RMA the order but I decided to keep it since it is compatible and better than the one I requested.	Overall Rating

Item was advertised as "new" which indicates that item will arrive factory sealed, this was not the case. The item had been previously opened and was resealed in a non-factory wrapper. Our company purchases the item in question regularly from many different vendors and we are well aware of what the Quantum factory packaging looks like. What we got was a very expensive tape drive that had been opened and then placed into an ordinary, off the shelf, anti-static bag. This is not acceptable, the product should have been listed as "open box" because it was previously opened. We paid for new, we want new. I have contacted them and I'm awaiting thier response.
