KEURIG Special Edition B60 Single Serve Coffeemaker
Strengths: Well constructed, can handle many size cups, mugs. VERY wide variety (over 150!) of K-cups coffee, teas, hot cocoa available. Well written manual & quick start guide. Easy to use and clean up.
Weakness: Coffemaker is expensive, K-cups are more expensive per use then say the pods, rather noisy but no noiser then other single serve brands. Large footprint
After months of research, online forums, etc. I decided the Keurig B60 was a perfect upgrade from our other (Brand S) single serve coffeemaker.
It is especially easy to use for those with "low vision" and/or who are "visually impaired" which was one of our major concerns.
Really enjoyed reading the full-colored, well written and organized Gourmet Coffee, Tea & Hot Cocoa Shopping Guide. You almost want to run out and buy all those delicious sounding coffees. Addictive reading and a keeper for sure.
Easy to use and clean. The blue LCD lights in the water reservoir blink when the water is low - nice touch! Solid construction with shiny chrome handle.
The B60 has 3 cups size buttons/choices: small cup (5.25oz) small mug (7.25oz) and large mug (9.25oz).
They can even be combined: after machine stops, open handle, (don't replace K-cup), re-close then push your desired size. In other words, the 5.25 + 7.25 fills a 12 oz. mug nicely.
Yes, it holds all our various size cups/mugs, short and tall alike.
Brewing temperature is factory set at 192 degrees, which gives you a hot fresh cup of coffee. It can be set lower (185 degrees) if you prefer.
Overall we are very pleased with our purchase and am looking forward to many years of coffee pleasure.

Couldn't live without it!
Strengths: Makes one cups quickly, adjustable temperature, variety of coffee/teas
Weakness: It's addictive!
I first tried a Keurig coffee maker at a friend's house. Within 60 seconds my cup of coffee was ready and I was hooked!
The B60 allows you to make 3 different size drinks. You can also use a travel mug by removing the drip tray.
Keurig has a huge variety of Kcups that suit any and every coffee drinker's mood.
I can even run the brewer just to get hot water to make hot cocoa for my son.
There is very little clean up with this brewer. Getting a cup of coffee in the morning has never been easier or quicker.
Here are the steps from start to finish:
1. Select and insert coffee
2. Select and press size desired
3. Enjoy coffee
The only thing that needs to be done when you're ready for another cup is to remove the used k-cup and begin steps 1 through 3 again.

Excellent and Easy Coffee Maker!
Strengths: Simplicity, Cleanliness, Ease of use
Weakness: Makes some noise
This is an excellent machine! You simply place a single plastic cup in the brewer, hit the size and in moments you have your coffee! You can even set the temperature to your liking. No messy filters, grounds, and messy pots. It simply brews it directly into whatever you want, and in a very short amount of time. While the machine is working, it pumps water from the tank into the heating chamber. It must utilize some type of diaphragm pump because it makes a bit of noise, but this is no problem. Excellent Machine! I highly reccommend.

Keurig b-60
Strengths: Fast, Hot, Easy. Lots of flavors!
Weakness: K-Cup availability in stores
Easily the best single serve I have used.
I have used Melitta one to one, Senseo and Tassimo.
I LOVE THIS MACHINE!
Been though them all.
K-Cups are available online and usually cheaper than in the store, so just order ahead of time and you will never be without. Mine came with a Your K-Cup filter so I can use my favorite coffee in place of the K-Cups. Love this idea! Keeps costs down when your out of K-Cups to use or while waiting for your shipments to arrive.

gourmet deluxe breaks
Strengths: good coffee, easy to use and convenient
Weakness: only functions 100% for approximately 6 months
I have given this machine more than ample chance for the convenience. I am on my 3rd machine and it just died. I will not replace it this time. I have had it. I only use bottle water in it and I clean it with vinegar as recommended by manufacturer. My first machine lasted 3 years so I had no problem replacing it with a new one, the 2nd one lasted 1+ yr, but did not function properly for 6+ months. Finally I had enough and replaced it with a new and this one lasted 3 months before it began malfunctioning and now it has completely died I can not even turn it on. I have had it 13 months. These are not $10-$20 coffee makers, so I expect them to last longer. And the coffee isn't cheap either. So I am going to save money and I am done with Keurig. The convenience is now an inconvenient aggravation and waste of money.

Nice machine. However, there are issues.
Strengths: Easy to use, easy to clean, makes great coffe. Lots and lots of coffee choices.
Weakness: Just stops working.
My wife and I both love the machine. However, after about a year, it started having problems. The light would say "ready to brew", but when you hit the cup button.... nothing would happen. We would have to turn the machine off and come back in a few hours, then sometimes it would work.
We have a second machine at the vacation house, and when it was about a year old, it started doing the same thing. I called Kurig Customer Support, and was told that I needed to descale the machine. Descaling does not resolve the problem.
So with several boxes of unused k-cups and two broken machines, I broke down and bought two new Kurig B-60 coffee makers on sale at Kohls. After all, it does make good coffee. Everything was fine, until this morning at the lake house.... the light came on and said "Ready to Brew", and nothing happened when she hit the cup button. I'd really love it, if Kurig could fix this problem.
Now I'm slightly ticked.

Keurig Special Edition
Strengths: Perfect cup of FRESH coffee every time. No waste, so NOT expensive in long run !!
Weakness: Really no weaknesses. It does everything for a Good Hot cup of coffee in a minute.
I do have ONE tiny concern. When you purchase the Keurig's , they give you a variety pack of K cups. I have loved most of them and bought Green Mt. Cocoa for the kids. It tastes like a plastic , or chlorine after taste. Did anyone else have such a problem??

This is an amazing machine. I was visiting from Australia and I first tried it at a friend's place in Jackson New Jersey and I was so determined that I have to buy one and bring it over to Australia.
Strengths: Very easy to use and not messy. Brews excellent coffee every time.
Weakness: Only available in US and Canada I was told.
I hope someone from Keurig replies to this message of mine. I'm really desperate to get my B60 coffee maker going. I brought it to Sydney Australia and put it in my luggage. The water compartment broke and the machine won't work. (even if I had to use a transformer). What do you think I should do

Love My Keurig
Strengths: Easy to use, discount pricing available at many stores, choice of cup size, led display
Weakness: Can be a bit noisy
This is my first 1 cup coffee maker and I couldn't be happier. The coffee maker heats up the water fast and makes a good cup of coffee. The machine came with a sample pack of K cups which is helpful in deciding which coffees that I like for future orders. The machine is so easy to use. The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy while it is heating the water before getting ready to brew. The LED display is nice as well.

Love, Love, Love this coffee maker
I HAD GOTTEN A KNOCK OFF OF THIS VERSION AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT AND IT DIDN'T HEAT UP THE WATER AND TASTED AWFUL. IT WAS ALSO VERY CHEAPLY MADE SO I RETURNED IT TO THE HOME DEPOT AND THEY DID NOT GIVE ME ANY HASSLES ABOUT RETURNING THE OTHER COFFEE MAKER . I THEN PURCHASED THE KEURIG SPECIAL EDITION ON LINE AT HOMEDEPOT.COM AND WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE! AS SOON AS I TOOK IT OUT TOF THE BOX, I KNEW IT WAS A QUALITY PRODUCT! VERY WELL MADE AND RELIABLE! SUPER COFFEE MAKER- MAKES THE PERFECT CUP OF COFFE EVERY TIME. IF YOU HAVE BEEN DEBATING ON WHETHER OR NOT TO SPEND THE MONEY FOR THIS COFFEE MAKER, DO IT! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED

Great Stuff!
We've always wanted a Keurig and now we have it! I was impressed the first time I learned about Keurig, which was through a case study I had in my "New Product Development" course during my Master's program :) We bought this machine and it is of excellent value and great quality. It is very easy to use and the single-serving concept is very convenient. You can't beat the speed of the Keurig, you can still grab a cup of coffee even when you're late to work in the morning. I gave it 4 stars not 5 because I would recommend two improvements: (1) Although the Temperature is adjustable, the highest temperature is still not as hot as I would've expected. It is hot enough for me if I start drinking immediately, but I would expect the hottest option to be "not drinkable" and only to be used when you prepare a cup to drink it few minutes later. (2) Although you have 3 cup sizes, the Large is not as big as a medium cup at a starbucks. This is still enough for me, but I know others who prefer a larger cup.

Strengths: Coffee made simple
If you're one of those people that gets up in the morning as a zombie then this is definitely for you. I wake up and scatter quickly to the kitchen to put in a keurig cup, water and turn on that switch to start. By the time I am done washing it's already mixed in my cup and ready to drink. This really saves me a good 15 minutes in the morning and tastes great right out of the machine. My other favorite is to come home and pop in a hot chocolate cup so I am impressed by the variety of different flavors even if they are not coffee. Currently stocked up on apple cider and see how that makes a difference in my day. It's just one step closer to having my own personal starbucks in the kitchen.

Noise
Strengths: good coffee
Weakness: lots of noise and vibration
this machine produces a lot of noise and vibration. I am not sure this is normal and wonder if I purchased a lemon. Also it is made in China. The coffee is good though.

Coffee maker of the future!!
Strengths: Quick cup of coffee in about 30 seconds. great cup after great cup of gourment coffee
Weakness: Not enough pure origin coffee choices at this time--but they are coming.
This machine has been the best investment I have made in any coffee maker and I have had many top end machines but none compare to this. There is never a bad tasting cup of coffee and you never worry about wasting a full or half pot anymore. The machine is well built and the only maintenance I have to perform is filling the resevior since we drink so many cups in a day. This machine sold itself to about 5 of our friends after they experienced a cup from this machine. Next machine will be a Keurig B-70 or one with in-line water hook-up.
