12 Cup, Black - MPN: KSM2B
Strengths: powerful, fast, compact
Weakness: none
I've had a Mr. Coffee grinder about the same size for a long time. This one is quieter and finely grinds more quickly than the Mr. Coffee. Nice machine.

TopStrengths: Powerful, easy to use
Weakness: A little hard to clean
I got the Braun KSM2-B for grinding spices. In general, it works well. It does a great job turning whole spices into ground ones in seconds with just a few pulses. Since the blade is not removable, the bottom part is not the easiest to clean, because you're trying to remove little bits of powdery residue from near the sharp cutting blades. Since it's not something I use everyday though, the slow, careful cleaning process isn't too much of an inconvenience.

TopStrengths: Occupies very less space, powerful and easy to clean.
Weakness: I don't see any weaknesses for the price of 15$ I paid for this.
I had different coffee grinders before, but I liked this one a lot .
Reason is for this price range it is very powerful, not so noisy as others. In this range I bet this is the best as
my friend own this and uses it to grind spices too, has been using for a few years without a problem
So I decided to jump on this after trying all others. It occupies almost the same space as others like Mr.coffee...
But Definitely it is powerful and reliable. So enjoy your coffee and don;t bother about power.

TopStrengths: easy to use, easy to clean, great price
Weakness: none noted so far
I bought this grinder to replace a $36 Hamilton Beach grinder, which only lasted me about 2½ years. The HB's safety interlock was/is poorly designed, and after about 18 months, quit working. I replaced the clear cover ($12 plus shipping) and it worked another 12 months, then I started having trouble with the switch again. I bought another lid, but that didn't help. The Braun is simple yet cleverly designed, and the interlock is the actual switch that runs the machine. If you like finely ground coffee, this machine does it in about 20 seconds. Don't run it for longer than about 30 seconds though. The grinding action will actually heat up the grounds and the coffee oils will make them sticky. I like this machine and have no complaints so far. The price is right too.

TopStrengths: appearance
Weakness: cleaning
I purchased this grinder for spices. I do a lot of Indian cooking and grind all of the spices. I was pleased that this grinder could grind the small seeds.
As with other grinders, the cleaning is not easy.

TopStrengths: Grinds well, which is what it should do; cord wraps into the base
Weakness: Difficult to clean; plastic lid breaks easily
The first one we got had the plastic tab on the lid broken. The replacement seems to work fine. We use it for spice grinding, not coffee. The pulse action gives you the desired consistency. You can dishwash the lid, but the metal bowl is attached and you need to wipe it out. The only recommendation would be to make the bowl/blade removable and dishwasher safe.

Great value - long lasting
Strengths: grinds beans evenly; self storing cord is wonderful
Weakness: none
My wife and I received one as a wedding present 21 years ago, and now the only reason we're going to replace it is because we left it at her brother's house half way across the U.S. and he won't send it back to us.
Some say the cleaning is hard, but I've never had much trouble. You have to remember the small space under the blade of any grinder will take a little manuevering.
