this is a great coffee grinder, but the grinding capacity seemed to be smaller than advertised, and compared to my old Krups coffee grinder. If u are only making a few cups, you'll be ok. I usually make about 8 cups.

Strengths: IT CRUSHES THE BEANS IN LESS THAN 1 MINUTE
Weakness: IT DOESNT HOLD ALOT OF COFFEE ONCE YOU GRIND YOUR BEANS
I LOVE MY CUISINART COFFEE GRINDER....I WOULD BE LOST WITHOUT IT. I ORDER MY COFFEE BEANS FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY THAN IN THE USA....SO I WANT MY BEANS GRINDER DOWN TO ESPRESSO FINE

Nice, loud grinder
Strengths: Works effectively (at least for the first few months)
Weakness: Loud, small capacity
My wife uses this grinder exclusively for spices. And for this purpose, it suffices. She put in a handful of wired roots / barks / seeds and let it run for a few seconds and every time she seemed to be pleased how this little thing worked -- the noise scared our little one when she was a few month old though :) The difficulty may be in the cleaning as you'll have to use a damp cloth / towel paper instead of socking the whole thing into water. But for the $10 we paid for it, we won't complain any more.
