Strengths: nice styling, brews good coffee
Weakness: some quality issues, especially with the hot plate
While this is probably one of the better drip coffee makers out there, it has a few annoying quality issues that drops it in my book. It's not really something you would expect from a good name in the market like Krups.
The worst is the hot plate which keeps the coffee warm after brewing. It is very cheaply made and after just trying to wipe it with a sponge, the paint has peeled off of it. Not does this look bad but I think it makes the coffee maker burn the coffee more if it is left on the hot plate a long time.
The carafe is also kind of annoying and always seems to drip although i can't figure out how that's happening.
Overall this is a nice drip coffee maker, but it appears that all manufacturers including Krups aren't putting much effort into making a good drip coffee maker anymore, and seem to be concentrating on espresso machines instead.

TopStrengths: Nice looking...brews a good cup of coffee relatively quickly.
Weakness: Water level indicator collects air bubbles. CALC lit up on display after less than a dozen uses.
Water level indicator has air bubbles so you must measure out the water in the carafe to make sure you have the correct amount. This is the second Krups in this model that does this. Called Krups and they said it was turbulence. No matter how slowly the water is poured in...there are air bubbles. Does not measure up to the Krups Pro Aroma that lasted for 8 years. Thinking seriously about returning this and going with another brand.

TopStrengths: Great Appearance, easy to use, controls are easily accessible
Weakness: none
This is the fifth Krups Coffeemaker I have had over many, many, many years. This new one is quite nice in its appearance and very simple to use. I most enjoy that my coffee is hot and the temperature control allows for this pleasure. The filter that comes with the machine is easy to insert and helps make a better tasting coffee.

I bought this coffe maker to replace another Krups unit that gave me years of great use. This machine is even better. It brews coffe very fast and its priced very low compared to other machines in this class. I highly reccomend it.

One little problem
Strengths: Krupps makes a good coffee maker, and this is no exception.
Weakness: Cannot reheat coffee
The coffee maker has a feature where it turns itself off after one minute if you turn it on with no water in it. This means that you cannot reheat a carafe of coffee which has gone cold.
