From KitchenAid, their Blade Coffee Grinder is powerful, durable, stylish and convenient. It has a 200-watt motor with a stainless steel blade to grind whole beans for the freshest taste and the richest aroma. It has a heavy-duty motor housing and bowl with a hi-impact top cover. Its sleek design provides an elegant look, and comes in four smart colors. To use, simply push down on the center top cover and your beans will grind to the consistency desired. Remove the top cover and bowl and pour your ground beans into your coffee maker. Other features include a dual interlock system that locks the top cover in place before grinding, a pulse control, and etched markings to adjust the amount of grinds to your liking. minimize

5 Star Review high performance

Strengths:

small, powerful, and cheap

Weaknesses:

loud

Posted Jan 24, 2008 - To turn on the blades, push down on the top. It might be for safety. Moreover, it has a powerful motor, but very loud. I like design (simple) and color(black) as well.

5 Star Review Kitchen Aid grinder very useful

Strengths:

easy to use. Like that the cup is removable for easy cleaning and it is stainless steel.

Weaknesses:

cord is not retractable and wish it were longer and thinner or a flat style cord.

Posted May 21, 2008 - This is a great little grinder that we use mainly for grinding up herbs. It is nice because you can separate the cup for easy cleaning and that it is stainless steel. Simple to use, just press down on the lid and away it goes. It is pretty quiet, but wish it were even quieter.

5 Star Review Blade BCG100OB Coffee Grinder

Strengths:

Powerful and endurable

Weaknesses:

Only one speed

Posted Dec 9, 2007 - Before this kitchenAid grinder, my grinder was Hamilton beach which has many choice for different speed and granularity, but seems having less power than the kitchenAid brand. I believe the new grinder will work for me for ever, however just for making coffee.
