(Edited August 14th by utpaker) I initially had questions, but they were quickly answered via email. The transaction was smooth and fast. The web page is easy to navigate. The product arrived in new condition and included everything in description. The shipment arrived in the time specified on web page. I am impressed with their service. College Backpacking has great prices. I would do business with them again and recommend that other do business with them as well. |

I was a little skeptical before I ordered with collegebackpacking.com but I did some research and decided to give it a shot! The prices are ROCK BOTTOM on backpacking equipment and Bill was very diligent about tracking my package. FREE SHIPPING for orders over $100 cannot be beat, I would highly recommend the site to anyone looking at any of their merchandise! It is safe, quick and easy, thanks again Bill! |

I ordered it from them, they never sent me a tracking number so I emailed them, and they said it would be shipped next day. I emailed them 4 days later no reply, then again 6 days later and they told me that the backpacks were out of stock and wouldn't be there for 4 more days. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is they at least refunded my money to me promptly. Wouldn't try them again- but I might have just hit a bad day. By the way, don't try calling them, they don't answer their phones |

Ordered a backpack for my wife over 2 weeks ago. I have yet to receive anything. I dont care where you are in the US anything should be received within 2 weeks. Especially St Louis, IL to Louisville, KY. The price looked good but at the same time the service received so far has been bad at best. Trying to get a representative on the phone is near impossible. Listing a contact phone number almost seems to be a joke. My wife has sent a couple emails with still no reply... Looks like we'll have to cancel payment on this order. No goods to show for it. Speaking from experience call the contact info first to see if you can get a representative on the phone before placing an internet order with any online provider you have any doubt in. I have 15 days shown as delivery time but that is 15 days and still no product... |

The prices were wonderful. I had some trouble ordering and the salespeople were very helpful, although impossible to reach by phone and difficult to reach by email. I waited 2 weeks for my order before finally requesting tracking. It appears that they lost the order and only filled it when they got my email. |

I did a lot of research before purchasing my backpack, and they have the absolute lowest prices out of anyone. My only complaint is the shipping time and communication. My bag was out of stock, but I wasn't made aware of this until 2 weeks after I ordered it and only because I sent 2 emails asking why I hadnt received the bag yet. I eventually got it and it's an awesome bag, but it took a month. |

I ordered the backpack on November 7th and did not receive it until the 28th. The website declared 2-4 day shipping, so three weeks is hardly an acceptable time frame. Furthermore, though a phone number is listed with business hours, not once was the phone answered in the 10 different times I called. Email customer service was also spotty at best, with just two of my five emails returned. If you can live with all of that, then go for it. The price I got was the cheapest I could find on the internet, and the backpack was in good condition when it arrived. I probably would have gone with a different company had I known 2-4 days would stretch into 21. |

I ordered a sleeping back off of collegebackpacking.com. Two weeks later I had not received any order update, shipping information, or anything. Five emails and ten phone calls spread over five days got me nowhere, I received no contact, no return emails, and no returned calls. I finally ran out of patience and asked to cancel my order via email, left a message to the same effect, and disputed the charge with my credit card company. An hour later I got an email saying they had canceled my order. Miserable customer service, the worst I've ever received. And to boot, they refunded my money minus a fee! DO NOT BUY FROM COLLEGEBACKPACKING.COM. I lost lots of time and paid $8.75 for nothing other than a giant hassle. |

I would not recommend using this merchant based on my experience. I did not receive my merchandise, and could not reach customer service by phone. I sent multiple emails always at least a day apart and not one received a reply. |

It took them 2 months to ship me the wrong sized product, even though they charged my credit card right away. This is against the credit card policies. I should have cancelled right away, but the price was good and they kept lying to me that my order would be shipping it "next week." After getting it, I tried returning the product, but couldn't get a return phone call for an RMA. Finally, I gave up and sold it for a loss. |
