NWN Platinum

Strengths:

Awesome AD&D game.

Weaknesses:

None.

Posted Sep 1, 2005 - Ok. I've been addicted to both Diablo games and have kicked those habits. I have played AD&D since 1982 and this game has me so hooked it is worse than crack. If you like AD&D-like games, you will not be disappointed.

Awesome game after years of play

Strengths:

In-depth role-playing experience. User-created adventures can be downloaded for free and will enhance gaming experience for years to come.

Weaknesses:

Graphics are getting a bit out dated.

Posted Nov 5, 2006 - I bought another copy of Neverwinter Nights because I couldn't resist the temptation. I've had two copies of the original adventure for years and have used my LAN to adventure with my kids. The only frustration was missing all of the upgrades and enhancements with the expansion packs. Buying the Platinum version solved that. Now we will be one big happy gaming family.

Neverwinter Nights Platinum

Strengths:

One CD disk to load. Latest version of game. Fast shipping.

Weaknesses:

DvD disk may not load on all PCs. Luckily I have a DvD ROM drive.

Posted Jun 20, 2006 - Great price ($15.95, including shipping) for this game. Now I can play with my son over our LAN, as we have another set of the NWN software, but of course, we needed different product codes in order to play together. We look forward to ordering Premium Modules the same way we ordered this game. Thanks.

Neverwinter Nights: Platinum (PC)

Strengths:

Three games in one, limitless gameplay, well-done storyline, good graphics and sound

Posted Dec 17, 2005 - Neverwinter Nights: Platinum is the main game, Neverwinter Nights, and the first two expansion packs, Shadows Of Undrentide and Hordes Of The Underdark. The game uses the 3rd edition AD&D rules and has a very expansive story, carried along in the expansion packs. The game looks and sounds good. Plus, there's limitless expansion with the module creation tools included with the game. Roleplaying fans should pick this one up.

Platnium Plus

Strengths:

Posted Jan 25, 2007 - The Neverwinter Nights Platinum Edition includes Neverwinter Nights and both official expansion packs- Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide and Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark. Gameplay is the same from the original Neverwinter Nights. The graphics are beautiful and gameplay never slows down. The price of the game has dropped significantly, so if you haven't picked it up and you like RPG games, now is the perfect time.

Neverwinter Nights Platinum

Strengths:

Nice graphics and sound, 3rd person, big game

Weaknesses:

A bit too much reading for my taste, takes time to get into

Posted Apr 21, 2006 - The game looks really good, has nice 3rd person style graphics, a nice interface and some nice music and sound. It's fairly fun to play, but takes a while to get into and there is a lot of reading along the way in dialogs, books etc which can get a bit tiring. The game seems to be very large, so you can probably spend a LOT of time playing it, but if you're strictly looking for a hack 'n' slash Diablo style game this might not be for you.
